Canadian citizen who claimed to have been involved in hacking other sites took credit for hacking GiveSendGo which led to the disclosure of donor names to Canada’s Freedom Convoy protest.
Here is the admission of Aubrey Cottle, aka “Kirtaner,” on Tik Tok, and it’s unique, often at the top of his lungs.

Aubrey Cottle. This is Aubrey Cottle hacking GiveSendGo. He doesn’t care who knows. Live on TikTok, he bragging about how he doxed and released the information that is currently getting thousands fired for their work for donating the Freedom Convoy. pic.twitter.com/HJW7BBRc4z

“Yes, I tossed the trucker. I hacked GiveSendGo, and I’d do it again. I’d do it a hundred times. It was possible. It was possible. Take a look at me. What are you going to do to me?” Cottle said in the video. “I’m literally a famous f***ing cyberterrorist, and you think that you can scare me?”
Cottle posted another video in which he claimed a website with his name was displayed on the Freedom Convoy donation page. It was his site that responded to him, he claimed.

Cottle previously posted a TikTok video on Feb. 7 saying, “It would be a real shame if something were to happen to GiveSendGo.” On Sunday, GiveSendGo was hacked, and over 92,000 names of donors on the platform were leaked online. The hack also redirected the GiveSendGo.com visitors to a new webpage featuring an essay criticizing the platform posted over a video of Disney’s Frozen.
“The Canadian government has informed you that the money you a-holes raise to fund an insurrection is frozen,” the essay said. “You are committed to funding anything that keeps the raging fire of misinformation going until it burns the world’s collective democracies down.”
Cottle claimed credit for several hacks such as Gab, Parler Truth Social and Epic Hosting.
It’s generally not a good idea to confess to hacking on social media. He seems to think that there won’t be any impact on him, indeed he dares people to “come at him.” It remains to be seen if he did do it. It is clear that he wants others to believe he did. This rant may not have been intended to invite the federales.
GSG managed to get the page up again and now it is just below $10 million for the truckers. The Ontario Superior Court ordered GiveSendGo on Thursday to stop receiving funds intended for protesters. GiveSendGo declined. “We are also going to be taking the Ontario government to court to seek an immediate lifting of what we consider to be an unlawful order,” they said.
These names were posted on the internet in an open database. CTV reported that a CTV reporter was asking people to explain why they gave to Freedom Convoy. Washington Post has now done something similar to send emails asking people why they donated.
The Washington Post has reached out to people whose information was compromised and who donated as low as $40 to truckers in order to find out why.

I’m sure that if anyone responded to these people, it was to say a version of “It’s none of your business” or “Don’t you care about freedom?” The WaPo had no problem using illegally acquired hacked information and harassing people with it? It was funny how many media outlets used that excuse to overlook the Hunter Biden laptop revelations. Liberal media doesn’t see their job as speaking truth to power and questioning authorities. It’s about maintaining the story and challenging those who disagree.
