We at RedState have long said that when Dr. Anthony Fauci testified to Sen. Rand Paul about the US government’s supposed non-involvement in gain of function research in Wuhan (and funding thereof) that he lied, and now documents from the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA) bear that out.
Project Veritas released documents Monday night “regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.”
Project Veritas received a report by Major Joseph Murphy of U.S Marine Corp, an ex-DARPA Fellow.
According to the report, EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA for funding in March 2018 to carry out gain of function research about bat-borne coronaviruses. DARPA refused to fund Project Defuse due to safety concerns as well as the idea that it was in violation of the moratorium on basis gain function research.
The documents show that NIAID under Dr. Fauci continued research at Wuhan in China as well as several other sites throughout the U.S.
Dr. Fauci maintained repeatedly, under oath that both the NIH (and NAIAD) were not involved in the EcoHealth Alliance program’s gain of function research. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.
“The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.
Major Murphy’s report goes on to detail great concern over the COVID-19 gain of function program, the concealment of documents, the suppression of potential curatives, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and the mRNA vaccines.
Murphy would not comment on the report’s contents when reached by Project Veritas, but issued a brief statement:

They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.”
