GOP Lets DC Mayor Have It, After She Pleads for National Guard to Deal With Illegal Aliens – Opinion

The Democrats of Washington, D.C. seem to finally understand that illegal aliens flooding your city may be a problem.

As we reported, Mayor Muriel Bowser whined on “Face the Nation” that Texas and Arizona shipping busloads of migrants to D.C. was creating a strain on her city, and that their homeless shelters were being overwhelmed. She also complained that the illegal aliens were being “tricked” somehow to go on the bus to D.C. — does she think people have to be tricked to want to go to D.C.?

Bowser wants to see the D.C. National Guard activated indefinitely for the assistance of migrant busses arriving in DC. Calling it a “humanitarian crisis” that has reached a “tipping point,” with 4,000 migrants so far. She’s also requesting the D.C. Armory to be used as a processing center to deal with the illegal aliens.

She wants it now, although she didn’t want it when it was offered before Jan. 6.

D.C. is a sanctuary city, but she didn’t consider what that might truly mean until now.

Bowser has also apparently found out what it’s like to have the Biden team blow you off, as has happened to the border states.

Bowser, the D.C. Initial letters were sent by Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and President Joe Biden. According to NBC News, neither of these letters has been answered.

Bowser had to hear from Republicans, as she now realizes how much of a burden the D.C. system can be just because there are 4,000 illegal aliens.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said that Bowser should try dealing with more than ten times that–in June alone.

Texas Governor. Greg Abbott said, “Washington D.C. finally understands what Texans have been dealing with every single day, as our communities are overrun by thousands of illegal immigrants,” and that the true humanitarian crisis was at the southern border.

According to the House Judiciary GOP Twitter account, Bowser had acknowledged in her request the negative effects of the illegal immigration on all systems, including education, health, infrastructure, inflation and crime.

Bowser acknowledges, in effect, that illegal aliens are a major problem for:

-Schools
-Healthcare systems
-Infrastructure
-Jobs
-Inflation
-Rents
-Crime

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) let loose, saying, “If 4000 is a tipping point, what the hell do you call the THREE & A HALF MILLION illegal immigrants who’ve crossed our southern border??

For years, cities in Arizona and Texas have been dealing with the flood of millions. More than 4,000 people are now threatening small communities.

Ducey called on Bowser to join the Republicans in truly addressing the issue — by stopping the flow across the border.

The Mayor can call on President Biden to act to fix the problem and protect our southern borders if she really cares.

Of course, she wouldn’t go there, even with the problem that she now has in her backyard. But, it looks like Abbott’s plan has succeeded.
