We reported that there had been a shooting at Greenwood Park Mall, Greenwood (a suburb of Indianapolis), with two victims being injured and three killed. The male victim was killed and the female victims were injured. A 12-year-old girl with a back injury sustained minor injuries was one of the victims. The hospital has stabilized two of the victims.
He was described as a man with several magazines and a rifle. According to police, the only thing that stopped the attack was the intervention of a good Samaritan who had a gun and saw the situation and shot the attacker, killing him. He is now cooperating with police and is 22 years old. However, they haven’t yet been able to identify the shooter or his motive.
