If you think back to the 2020 campaign, one of Joe Biden’s chief promises was to rebuild and restore our alliances. It was unclear what that really meant, as Donald Trump simply fixed many abuse relationships where lesser countries were actually pawning the United States.

In Biden’s world, rebuilding trust with our allies was always about going back to bending the knee to the useless Eurotrash. Sure enough, that’s exactly the path the president has taken.
So, how’s that working out? Germany will pay back that subservience and give Joe Biden, weak and foolish, a swirly over Russia, Ukraine.

This is insane! Germans want us to pay NATO’s defense against Russia. They are simultaneously rushing to defend Russia and ensuring that they remain energy dependent on Vladamir Putin. Do you think that makes sense?
A real leader would be looking to end Germany’s membership in NATO, while at the same time nuking the Nordstream 2 pipeline, further putting the pinch on Russia. Instead of seeking to end Germany’s membership in NATO, Biden chose appeasement and has given a much smaller power, along with a mini-tyrant such as the Chancellor, Germany, immense power. It’s one of the most perverse diplomatic and military relationships I’ve seen in the modern era.
Donald Trump’s assessment of Germany failing to do its bit and his attempts to remedy the situation were 100% accurate. However, he was viciously attacked by our allies for causing harm. But an alliance isn’t worth anything if that ally keeps spitting in your face. It is completely unacceptable that Germany has a hostile attitude towards US interests. They aren’t pulling their weight with NATO, and worse, they continue to empower the country that NATO exists to counter.
Biden is not equipped to handle such abuse. You can expect him to keep taking it on the chin because he’s terrified of countering the status quo. Germany cannot be excused from being in good standing based on their behaviour. We aren’t exactly talking about a country that has earned the benefit of the doubt here either. Russians should be their ally if they are to have any sort of dealing with them. Putin should pay for their defense.
The fact that the United States refuses to speak out against the Western countries who have so brutalized liberties in the COVID-19 epidemic is an egregious moral failure. Germany is the main proponent of rights-crushing, draconian mitigation measures. Excommunication is due to this alone. If they really want to emulate the Russians let them ally with them.
