Former Obama Official Spouts off About Kyrsten Sinema in Vile Attack – Opinion

One of the things I always found completely ridiculous about the criticism of President Donald Trump was complaints about his “mean tweets.” This, while Democrats were calling him every name in the book. He and Republicans are the “uncivil” ones. They break norms. Even as Democrats conspired to falsely accuse Trump of collusion with Russia and attempted to discredit him, Yes, let’s talk about ‘breaking norms.’

Let’s talk about Joe Biden calling Fox’s Peter Doocy a “son of a b**ch” on a hot mic, for daring just to ask a question about inflation, the subject of the meeting that the press was at to cover with Biden. Not to mention all Biden’s other nasty comments directed at people, even voters.

But Democrats even go after people on their own side, if they think they’re standing in their way to grab power. People on the right have been vilifying Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV (and Sen. Kyrsten Silena (D.AZ)). Sinema is the target of bile that’s certainly more vile.

Phelim McAleer, an Irish American filmmaker, and his documentarian partner Ann McElhinney captured some truly vile remarks on “Pod Save America” from Alyssa Mastromonaco, former deputy chief of staff to Barack Obama.

Mastromonaco attacked Sinema’s vote to save the filibuster, saying that Sinema had “real issues.” Mastromonaco slammed her for making her remarks as Joe Biden was on his way up to the Hill, saying that was “the s***tiest, grossest, most disrespectful thing she could’ve done. I think she’s a c***. That’s what I have to say.”

And, by the way, that’s “on HIS way up to the Hill” — not “her.” Was Mastromonaco all there when she made these remarks?

Sinema continued to be called by her.

“It was so many layers of a**holeness, like you know she played a combative video game before she went down to the Senate floor and was like, ‘you are a maverick, you are a maverick.’ And b****, you’re not a maverick, ok? No, you’re trash.”

Mastromonaco joked they didn’t have to bleep the words she was using because she was a “woman,” as though that was an excuse for being trashy. How ironic that, even there, she’s playing identity politics games while attacking another woman.

Meanwhile, Jon Favreau and Dan Pfeiffer don’t object, indeed they laugh. They think it’s all just cool that Mastromonaco treats another woman this way. Why? Because she’s standing in their way, so, all attacks, however low and misogynistic, are just cool with them.

This is not only wrong but it will also make Sinema more willing to listen to what they have to say. So, it’s counterproductive too, except for whipping up the hate against Sinema.

This comes on top of the disgusting comment from former Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich saying that Democratic senators should have given Sinema the “back of their hands.”

All women should be protected.
