A scathing report by her office, purporting that it confirmed multiple instances of sexual harassment or assault perpetrated by the former New York Governor was published. Andrew Cuomo was charged in one criminal case.
Although this is surprising to me, most thought Cuomo would simply fade into the background. Apparently, his time in the spotlight isn’t over, though.

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was charged in an allegation of misdemeanor sexual-crime at Albany City Court. A court spokesperson said that this occurred on Thursday.
Two months ago, Cuomo resigned due to sexual harassment allegations by multiple women against Cuomo as a Democratic three-term candidate.
On Thursday, details regarding the allegations made against Cuomo, including that he was accused of inciting the murder of the women at its center, were not available immediately.
Cuomo was allegedly groping the victim, who previously had filed a formal complaint. A redacted version should soon be released, which will provide more information about what Cuomo has been accused of.
If Cuomo’s goose wasn’t already cooked for good, this should about do it. A few months ago, Chuck Todd was waxing poetic about the disgraced governor making a political comeback, but that’s off the table now. We’ll keep you updated on any further details.

ALBANY — A summons charging former Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo with misdemeanor forcible touching was prematurely issued by Albany City Court on Thursday after a sheriff’s investigator filed paperwork with the court summarizing their investigation and seeking to begin the process of obtaining a criminal complaint.
No final decision had been made by the sheriff’s department or the Albany County district attorney’s office on whether to formally file charges, according to sources familiar with the matter. A spokesperson for the State Office of Court Administration said that Cuomo had been charged with a misdemeanor.
