That’s it. The New York TimesHunter Biden’s notorious laptop was found to contain a surprisingly large amount of malware. The New York Posts reporting, it is important to look back at how CNN En Español, among many other media outlets, dismissed the story- thus aiding and abetting Big Tech in their effort to suppress a story that would’ve otherwise badly damaged Joe Biden just two weeks from the 2020 presidential election.
Watch as anchor Juan Carlos López closed his report from October 20th, 2020- five days after the Post broke the story and got suspended from Twitter- with this flourish:
As we noted at the time, López didn’t even report on the laptop straight-up. He added it to an unrelated report about Russian hacking. It allowed him to support the Russian disinformation defense against this explosive story. In fact, López cited the “Eastern European” provenance of some of the documents on Biden’s laptop as proof of trickery, as opposed to corroboration of Biden’s dealings with Burisma!
Joe Biden has been in the White House for nearly a year. This is largely due to organized suppression of the story. Now that the Times has conducted its own verification of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, we expect López to issue an on-air correction and report it ALL.

JUAN CARLOS LÓPEZ, CNNEE: And the Department of Justice issued a harsh warning to Russia due to their cyber activities at the same time the FBI investigates whether the leak of alleged emails from the son of former Vice President Joe Biden is part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Now, let’s get to the news.
The incident took place Monday at a Department of Justice press conference. It was between officials of DOJ and FBI. The filing of criminal charges against six officials of Russia’s military intelligence agency the GRU was announced by Federal Law Enforcement. Which charges are they facing? The cyberattacks they are being accused of launching against the interests other countries’ interests were against them, however, according to reports, it was also against US countries. A Justice Department official was the one to issue the warning. We were going to hear audio, let’s move forward with a detailed report of the charges against these individuals.
JOHN DEMERS, ASSISTANT U.S.ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR NATIONAL SAFETY: Russia is the only country that has used its cyber capability to cause unprecedented collateral damage in order to gain tactical advantage and satisfy lust.
This case involved all the members of Military Unit74455 of Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate. The GRU is an intelligence agency. The Department previously charged members of this same unit, also known to cybersecurity researchers as “Sandworm Team,” for their role in Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. elections. Here, we make no allegations about election interference. Rather, today’s charges illustrate how Unit 74455’s election activities were but one part of the work of a persistent, sophisticated hacking group busy sabotaging perceived enemies or detractors of the Russian Federation…
LOPEZ: And although they reiterated that the charges have nothing to do with the 2020 election, it bears noting that at a time when the FBI is investigating, yes, the leak of emails that allegedly come from a computer belonging to Hunter Biden and that, according to a conservative media outlet, show corruption (which it really doesn’t show), then, they are announcing charges against members of Russian intelligence belonging to the same unit that interfered in the 2016 presidential election.
But let’s review that allegation that an alleged computer containing emails that show alleged acts of corruption that, when you read the material, that they say is real but that isn’t- hasn’t been verified, prove absolutely nothing.
On October 14th, the New York Post, a newspaper belonging to mogul Rupert Murdoch- who also owns the Fox News network, published a so-called “exclusive” over Hunter biden and the content that they allege to have come from his personal computer. According to that version, the owner of a computer repair shop in Delaware, the state where former Vice President Joe Biden lives, -the shop owner is also legally blind- states to have received from someone who he believes to be Hunter Biden…he can’t guarantee that, Hunter Biden lives in California- a laptop in April of 2019. The person claimed that the person who left the laptop was never seen again and that the store owner took the laptop. The individual claims he notified FBI. They initially dismissed him, then asked for copies of the hard drives before returning with warrants and taking the laptop. The individual was cautious and made copies of the documents and sent them to Rudy Giuliani (an adviser and ex-personal attorney of President Donald Trump). Let’s continue. Rudy Giuliani is a crucial figure in pressure on the Ukrainian government for an investigation of Joe Biden. That request resulted in President Trump’s impeachment and subsequent dismissal in the Senate. Rudy Giuliani allegedly obtained personal data from Hunter Biden. There’s more. Steve Bannon (ex-advisor to Donald Trump) is now free to appear in court on fraud charges related to an effort to construct a private wall at the border. According to the charges, they raised around 25 million dollars. It is now known that Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, and Rudy Giuliani provided the information to the New York Post. However, they have refused to allow anyone to look at the content of the hard drive. That would permit them to confirm its origin and provide a lot of data.
John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence said that there was no evidence to suggest that material published by New York Post related to Russian disinformation campaigns. Ratcliffe was a former Republican congressman who has no intelligence experience, but is loyal to Trump. His credibility is not solid. This is especially true when he is a member of the intelligence community. However, the FBI is conducting an investigation and it is still unclear how he became involved with a partisan issue.
Twitter and Facebook have since changed their positions, despite doubts about the authenticity of the content.
These materials contain an email that indicates that Hunter Biden introduced one his Ukrainian partners to Vice President Biden at White House or on White House grounds. After reviewing the documents, it was discovered that the Biden Campaign states that the date is not correct and the email contains key information, such as origin, date and source. Also, many of these documents were likely created in Eastern Europe. This raises a lot of suspicion. Now, President Trump did say that he was outraged and upset that this isn’t widely broadcast- what looks to be a campaign strategy ahead of the election. In his usual offensive language, he refers to the media yesterday for refusing to accept that version.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: He is a criminal. He was caught. Take a look at his computer. Know who the criminal is? It is a crime to not report it. For not reporting it, you are guilty of a crime. You are a criminal because you didn’t report it. Joe Biden has been a crime for many years.
LOPEZ : To report defamatory information would be a crime. To not perform our duties would constitute a crime. Trump may be angry, and he might be infuriated, but the information cannot be published if it isn’t verifiable. The debate about freedom of speech continues. There are those who think they have the right to speak their mind. We, the media outlets, report only and publish information we verify. It would be negligent not to do this. Despite the many criticisms from President Trump, this information is still suspect and lacks credibility.
