Libs of TikTok published presumable screenshots of Twitter employees accusing the conservative account of “targeted violence” and urging that the platform ban the account.
Days after Twitter locked Libs of TikTok’s Twitter account for criticizing drag shows for kids, Libs of TikTokTwitter published purported screenshots showing a Twitter debate about banning the popular account. TikTok Library tweeted on June 13, “Twitter employees are currently debating whether to ban us. We have screenshots of their internal discussion.” Libs of TikTok subsequently posted the screenshots on Substack.
The screenshots, which Libs. TikTok stated were taken by an anonymous Twitter employee and show a discussion about bashing Libs. TikTok, as well discussing whether or not the platform should ban it.
“I mean we successfully deplatformed Trump – I don’t think deplatforming Libs of TikTok is going to cause a mass exodus,” one employee argued. Another person bashed Twitter for not banning the account, saying the platform is so low that “the devil himself is having to squat to get to their level.” Sad that the Twitter employee assumed the devil’s pronouns …
Substack reported that Twitter employees suggested that conservative accounts are inciting violence just by reposting material leftists have already posted online. The employees accused Libs of TikTok of existing “solely to generate targeted violence at marginalized people” and helping incite “genocidal violence during pride month.”
On June 14, Libs Of TikTok tweeted, “Update: After the events of the past 2 days I’ve decided to move to a safer location until things calm down.”
Libs of TikTok’s supposedly horrific, offending tweet simply highlighted an already advertised Drag Queen Story Hour for preschoolers, yet someone said the account was “going to get somebody killed.”
Aside from calling honest recounting of woke nonsense “genocidal violence,” Twitter allowed seven dictators to continue posting on the platform, including Russian President Vladimir PutinIranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Putin oversees the invasion of Ukraine, and Khamenei called for violence and has made anti-Semitic tweets on his Twitter account over years.
Not only is Libs Of TikTok the account drawing the fury of Twitter workers, but there are many other accounts that have drawn the attention of Twitter users.
Twitter locked conservative podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey out of her account after she criticized Fox News for celebrating a small child who “transitioned” genders, according to StuckeyTwitter has unlocked the account of.
Twitter has targeted Libs of TikTok multiple times before, as MRC’s CensorTrack database shows. In April, after tweeting, “Apparently a female not wanting to change in front of a male is transphobic,” Libs of TikTok received back-to-back Twitter suspensions. Washington Post Taylor Lorenz columnist was recently criticized after he misreported facts in a leftist smear paper. She also tried to harass and dox Libs for TikTok.
