This is the story of why Boston’s Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics fell to Golden State in last year’s NBA Finals. Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum simply isn’t black enough, according to former pro Nick “Swaggy” Young.
The six-game Warriors series that ended in victory was won by Tatum, who averaged 21.5 point per game. Tatum shot just 31.5 percent on the field, and had a lot of turnovers. A dubious NBA record was also established by him with 100 turnovers during playoffs.
Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins held Tatum to just 13 points in the sixth and final game Thursday.
Tatum was “a shell of himself against the Golden State Warriors, completely vanishing when his team needed him the most,” wrote Orlando Silva of the Fadeaway World blog.
Young, who was a mediocre journeyman who played for six NBA teams in his career, got on his high horse to tweet that Tatum just isn’t black enough.:
As much as I love JT he showed his true light skin colors came out this finals got lock up the whole finals left his boy brown hanging … …you got to much Gane for this to happen

Other than the fact that Young can’t write or spell a lick and his tweet begs the question of whether or not he was truly capable of doing college work at Southern Cal, we do know what this black racist thinks of white players. He only forgot the part about “white men can’t jump.”
Outkick blogger Courtney Weil responded to Young’s blatant racist tweet by saying, “Did Tatum have a few off games because of his pigmentation? Have those with ‘light skin colors’ historically underperformed in major athletic competitions? Is Young taking a page from the Biden playbook and telling Tatum he ‘ain’t black’ “?
Weil was referring to President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign remark that if blacks didn’t vote for him it would demonstrate that they were not truly “black.
“Young is running his mouth a whole lot for a guy who averaged 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and one assist in his entire NBA playoff career,” Weil added. “With this ill-advised tweet, perhaps Young has shown his true colors as well.”
