A disturbing video shows a Los Angeles realtor being attacked by a client on Sunday, prompting gun-owning colleagues in real estate to stress the importance of concealed carry.
The Encino woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told local news outlet KTLA that the man who attacked her in the video showed up to an open house posing as a potential buyer.

“I see him all the time. He’s in front of me. I didn’t sleep last night,”she said. “It just seems like a movie playing and playing, and I can’t get it to stop.”

The video shows the assailant shaking the women’s hands and then pushing her over. According to KTLA, he then fondled the victim’s breasts while she was on the ground, before running off.
The woman did not suffer major injuries, KTLA reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department is actively looking for the man.
“This is why ALL real estate agents should conceal carry”
Numerous commenters on social media, including fellow real estate agents, characterized the incident as an example of why realtors should be armed while on the job.
Katie Thulin, a sales representative for the U.S. Concealed Carry Association, said the attack showed why “ALL real estate agents should conceal carry.”

Real estate agent Roberta Bradley urged her fellow realtors to do “what is comfortable and right” to protect themselves. Bradley said that in her case, that means concealed carry.

National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch weighed in on the incident, saying every realtor she knows carries a firearm for just such cases.

“This is a great example of why EVERY REALTOR should have a conceal carry permit and actively carry,” wrote another Twitter user whose profile identifies her as a real estate agent.
The Dawna Hetzler incident
Earlier this year, a Denver real estate agent said she owed her life to the fact that she was carrying a firearm while showing a home.
Dawna Hetzler told Fox 31 a man knocked on the front door not long after she arrived for a scheduled open house in Commerce City.
After being shown the kitchen and living room areas, he asked to see the upstairs. When Hetzler took him to the master bedroom, he pulled a knife and laid out six-inch rope.
“He wanted me to take off my ring and go in the closet, and at that point, his intentions were deadly, in my opinion,” Hetzler told Fox 31.
Heltzer, who is licensed to carry, took out her handgun in response.
“As I drew my firearm, and he saw that I had that, he doused me with bear spray. At that point, I could not see. I could barely see. My skin was burning, my eyes were on fire and so I fired,” she said.

“My primary purpose is to capture this man. We want to get him off the streets so we live in a safe society,” Hetzler added. “My life was in danger and if I did not have my firearm, I would not be here today.”
