Manchester United (EPL) seems never to have any peace. Whether it’s a revolving door of managers, players who don’t perform in a way worthy of their contracts, or losing games they should win, the club always seems to be engulfed in drama in one form or another.
All of it is nothing compared to the most recent drama, which shrouds Red Devils. This instance however is quite hilarious.
Elon Musk was the man who claimed to have bought Twitter. He used the same app to jokely state that he would buy the club to stop it’s downward spiral. One follower fell for Musk’s joke and asked him if he meant it. Musk quickly replied that he wasn’t serious.
It’s a Twitter joke. I’m not buying any sports teams.

The Red Devils were able to win 13 Premier League Titles under Sir Alex Ferguson and two Champions League trophy. However, Manchester’s status among the best clubs in England and around the globe has declined since Ferguson retired in 2013. The Red Devils’ woes continue to this season. They lost to Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion, by scores of respectively 2-1 and 4-1.
Although it will take more than an ownership stake to save Manchester United from its current financial problems, this might not seem like the most outrageous thing that could happen to it in recent times.
