On Wednesday, The Washington Free Beacon’s Andrew Stiles provided some detailed analysis of how the left-wing media have really struggled to “speak truth to power” under the Biden administration. He particularly called out the abysmal lack of press coverage when it came to the corruption scandal swirling around the President’s son, Hunter Biden.
“Professional journalists pride themselves in preserving democracy by ‘speaking truth to power,’ at least when Republicans are in charge. Their enthusiasm for public accountability wanes significantly when Democrats hold power,” Stiles rightly observed. He then cited the proof: “For example, most mainstream media outlets have refused to cover the burgeoning Hunter Biden corruption scandal, which would be front-page news if his dad weren’t a Democrat.”
