DOJ Blocked Trump’s Declassification of Russian Collusion Hoax Docs in Final Hours of His Presidency – Opinion

Truth be told, I was never a fan of the term “deep state” — reason being, it sounded a bit too shadowy and sinister to me. Too “Tom Clancy-ish,” I thought. After the Obama-era IRS revealed it had targeted Citizens United, and other conservative organizations, solely based on their names or political goals, my aversion to this changed dramatically. The Russian collusion scandal was exposed and I became a believer.

While the IRS scandal might be in the rearview mirror, information continues to emerge about the Democrat-contrived Russian “collusion” hoax, purposely manufactured to derail Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and ultimately the Trump presidency. According to Just the News, Wednesday’s latest revelations are the most alarming so far. This is especially true for the Department of Justice.

In the last hours of Trump’s presidency, U.S. Justice Department raised privacy concerns in an attempt to block release of hundreds upon pages of documents Donald Trump had released to expose FBI abuses in the Russia collusion probe. The agency refused to publish the documents after redactions were done, according to interviews.

A memo from the National Archives tells the story about how declassified material was never made public. It was obtained by Just the News by the National Archives by Mark Meadows, then White House Chief of Staff. This memo came just hours before Trump’s departure at noon on January 20, 2021.

Meadows’ memo confirmed prior reporting by Just the News that Trump, on Jan. 19, 2021, declassified hundreds of pages of sensitive FBI documents that show how the bureau used informants and FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. These documents show how both Congress and the federal court were misled by the Justice Department about discrepancies in the evidence that was presented by DOJ in order to receive approval for their investigation. Adam Schiff, a serial-liar, was unable to comment.

It’s fascinating, according to JTN

Declassified documents include transcripts from intercepts by the FBI of Trump advisers and a copy declassified of the last FISA warrant that was approved by intelligence courts. Also included were tasking orders, debriefings and tasks of Christopher Steele, Stefan Halper and Stefan Halper. These two sources are used by the bureau to determine whether Trump colluded or not with Russia in order to steal the 2016 elections.

[…]

Trump never released the declassified documents, even though Trump ordered Meadows to do so.

Multiple congressional hearings, the Mueller investigation and nothingburger Mueller did not find any evidence of collusion. However, investigators did find that the FBI violated rules and misled the FISA court in an effort to keep the probe alive — despite the fact that documents were Legally declassified by Trump and the DOJ was instructed by Trump to release them through Mark Meadows, Trump’s then chief of staff. Meadows wrote this in a memo that was sent along with the request:

I have returned the majority of the declassified binder to the Department of Justice. It includes any documents which could potentially raise privacy concerns. The instructions are that the Department expeditiously review the Privacy Act according to standards the Department of Justice would ordinarily apply and redact appropriate material.

So let’s see: lawfully declassified documents, a very concise memo from Trump’s then chief of staff; yet the DOJ usurps presidential powers and blocks declassification, claiming some bogus security excuse.

Meadows told JTN on Tuesday he was “dismayed” that the DOJ ignored A lawful directive from the sitting presidentIt was part of an overall dynamic in the area. permanent federal bureaucracy (see: “deep state”) to repeatedly undercut Trump and protect itself.

Although the swamp is quite deep, we can see that this specific president cared about draining the swamp. That was more of an advertising slogan than anything when he was running. He realized, once he reached the bottom of it, that there was a lot more to it than he thought.

Of course, he often does. [Trump] said, ‘You know, I want to do this and get this out to the American people; not just the classification in terms of issues that affected him or his campaign personally, but issues that affect the American people.

Meadows in his 2021 memo said White House lawyers told him the DOJ’s last-minute concerns were not legitimate because the executive office of the president was exempt from the Privacy Act.

In the interview on Tuesday night, he said he agreed in the final minutes of the presidency to let DOJ make redactions “out of an abundance of caution” and expected the DOJ would comply with Trump’s order.

We wanted to make sure that we didn’t harm anyone. We gave them the declassified documents. They were classified documents. I should stress that. They did exactly what we expected.

Except they didn’t.

Former Trump adviser David Bossie, head of the Citizens United watchdog group — as I noted at the top, one of the groups targeted by the IRS — said the episode is a pointed reminder that Washington’s permanent bureaucracy can wield so much power, it can even thwart an elected president. Not only true, as we’ve learned; but it should scare your socks off if you think about it, properly.

Bossie told JTN:

Trump was against the Deep State.  These are the deep state actors that the American people don’t understand really what it’s about, but it’s the people who are the permanent class in Washington D.C. They just don’t do what they’re told. They don’t do what they are ordered to do.

So when Trump tells a group of bureaucrats that he wants them to do something, they just sit there, especially in the final minute. Within our government, this was a plot against Trump.

Add the TDS-ridden Democrat Party to the mix, along with its sock puppets from the legacy media, and you’ve got it.

Let’s get to the bottom of it:

Think about the reaction left would have if this scheme was launched against Obama and Biden. The sock-puppet media alone would have made Richard Nixon’s Watergate scandal pale by comparison. Trump is Trump and Trump knows where he’s at all times. is,Visceral hatred is possible as well.

This visceral hatred is more apparent in the Democrat Party than anywhere else.
