Duane Chapman, star of hit reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” appeared to propose to his new girlfriend during an appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show.”
Footage from Chapman’s upcoming appearance on the show was posted to Twitter by Dr. Mehmet Oz on Tuesday.
Chapman’s wife Beth passed away from cancer complications in June.
In the “Dr. Oz” clip, Chapman at one point turns to Moon Angell and says through tears, “I am a lot happier with her around. Moon Angell, will you marry me?”

Angell is a longtime friend who, according to Chapman’s daughter Lyssa Chapman, became acquainted with the family when she began dating Chapman’s son.
Lyssa Chapman has publicly criticized her father for allegedly dating Angell.
“If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step- mom died what would you do ? If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do ? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho,” she wrote in a since deleted-tweet from earlier this month. “Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet-Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY!!!”
