‘Do You Feel Safe?’ MSNBC’s Cross Suggests Boebert Might Shoot Democrats

Her Saturday morning MSNBC programCross Connection, Tiffany Cross seemed to imply the possibility that Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO) might shoot a Democrat congressman, further illustrating the dangerous and toxic levels of rhetoric some in the liberal media will stoop to in order to ensure their audiences hate their fellow Americans.

Cross spoke with Hakeem Jeffries (D–NY), House Democratic Caucus Chair.

You already know this:It’s still happening: gun violence. You’re working alongside gun enthusiasts, like Congresswoman Lauren Boebert who made, you know, her carrying her gun to work on Capitol Hill a part of her campaign…She’s made threatening comments, she’s made insulting comments..[W]Ith the — The discord on Capitol Hill right currently Do you feel comfortable working at Capitol Hill with provocateurs? There are some exceptions. That was the catalyst for violence that we saw happen on January 6th?

Jeffries responded with a mixed message. Jeffries first said that he had done so because of Capitol Police.

Well, It is safe for me to feel secure. I’m thankful for the work of the men and women of the Capitol Hill police forceAs we witnessed on January 6, these men put their lives at risk to protect the Congress, Capitol and Constitution from the violent attack by former President of America.

Wait a second. Did he suggest that Boebert should be stopped from shooting him by the police?

Jeffries on the contrary, decried “the reckless, radical divisive AND dangerous rhetoric that continues coming from people on both sides of the aisle”, and stated they “need be held responsible.” “[w]It is time for the Republican Party to take responsibility and not bury their heads in sand. They must stop them from getting someone else killed.”

Again, Jeffries meant to say that Boebert and other Republicans might assassinate someone if there is no Republican leadership.

Notice how like good liberals everywhere, Cross refers to “gun violence occurring.”” As if it’s a spontaneous, non-anthropogenic, event, disconnected from the criminals responsible for the violence.

Tiffany Cross asked Dem Rep. Hakeem Jeffreyries to tell MSNBC he feels “safe” around Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert. The interview was sponsored partly by Gold Bond and Tide. You can find their contact information here.

TIFFANY CROSS: I want to ask because this — you know,It’s still happening: gun violence. You’re working alongside gun enthusiasts, like Congresswoman Lauren Boebert who made, you know, her carrying her gun to work on Capitol Hill a part of her campaign, quite frankly.

She’s made threatening comments, she’s made insulting comments about some of your fellow colleagues. I’m just curious with the — the discord happening on Capitol Hill right now, Do you feel comfortable working at Capitol Hill with provocateurs? There are some exceptions. That was the catalyst for violence that we saw happen on January 6th?

HAKEEM JEFFRIES – Well It is safe for me to feel secure. I’m thankful for the work of the men and women of the Capitol Hill police forceWe saw that they put their lives on the lines to defend Congress, Capitol, Constitution, and country against the brutal attack inciting by the ex-President of the United States of America.

But we do need an end to the reckless and radical divisive and dangerous rhetoric that continues to come from people on the other side of the aisle, whether that’s Marjorie Taylor Greene, or Lauren Bobert, or Paul Gosar.

It’s endless in terms of the vitriol that we’ve seen. They must be held responsible. Some have. Some will. Also, we need Republican leadership that acts responsibly and stops burying their heads under the sand. They must stop them from getting someone else killed.
