Dem Pulls a Nasty Move During Congressional Baseball Game – Opinion

According to our report, the Congressional baseball match was characterized by extra drama due to climate radicals’ attempt to stop access.

Townhall’s Julio Rosas caught some of the action of the sorry lot.

Their efforts didn’t go well — with three arrests and other entrances being open anyway, so they didn’t stop anyone from getting into the event.

The purpose of the game is supposed to be to come together on the field of sport — for a few moments — to have fun together and share a little unity. Although we have seen the occasional attack by a radical leftist on a GOP practice field for the game in the past, it has been largely a success.

They’re also raising money for charity for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation, the Washington Literacy Center, and — following the practice shooting in 2017 — the US Capitol Police Memorial Fund.

“This game is so great and people are so nice,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said about the game. “That’s what makes it great that we’re competitive, and it’s great to be here and have a little fun.” But she maybe should have told her people that, because the climate activists weren’t the only drama at the game.

Rep. Linda Sanchez (D. CA) added a touch of humor. In the sixth inning, Democrats were trailing 5-0 when Sanchez got a leadoff walked. After that, she was pulled as a pinch runner. But while making her way back to the Democrats’ dugout, she flipped off the Republicans in the other dugout.

It’s not clear why she did that, but now they can’t even leave their behavior aside in a game for charity to help kids? This is a terrible move. Some role model she is. It says a lot about their approach when that kind of response is all they’re left with. But it didn’t help the Democrats who got blown out, 10-0, as we reported.

They’re going to be even more upset in November with what is to come in the midterms. CNN acknowledges the fact that all the numbers favor the Republicans. CNN’s Harry Enten was even saying that polls are likely underestimating the wave that is to come.

A couple of fans also had a message in the stands with “Let’s go, Brandon” and “45.”

This could be the best metaphor for November.
