We’ve been following closely the case of Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing his Porsche into another car in May in Napa County, California.
There were many questions that we had about this case, including the 4 hour gap between when he was taken into custody and his booking and the non-release of bodycam and other details. The biggest question was, would he ever be charged? Local D.A. Last week, the D.A. in the local area raised the possibility that he may not be. Her office stated that they are still investigating the matter.
The second question is now answered. This man was charged with driving under alcohol influence causing injury and driving at.08% blood alcohol.
