CNN’s Chris Cillizza Already Auditioning 2024 Biden Replacements

Is it a sign of a Democrat president that, less than a full year into his term, a liberal commentator has already begun to search for possible successors for him in the next presidential race?

CNN’s political handicapper Chris Cillizza drew attention to this situation Monday when he reviewed who might replace Joe Biden by 2024. Cillizza’s  Biden replacement list appeared in his laughable star search fantasy, “11 Democrats who could replace Joe Biden in 2024.”

Take President Joe Biden’s age, which will be 82 within a few months of the 2024 election, and add his continuing political struggle (he is in the 40s when it comes to job approval). You get the following: A series of stories that examine whether Biden might run again, and, if so, who could take his place.

Cillizza did not give Biden a vote for confidence. But, he also mentions possible Democrat replacements.

Kamala HarrisDespite having struggled in her role as vice president, it’s not impossible for her to become the Democratic nominee in 2024.

Even though Joe Biden and his wife clearly hate her. And don’t forget that the failed Border Czar’s popularity with the public has sunk even lower than Biden’s.

Pete Buttigieg – The 2024 Field’s most natural talent candidateBiden’s infrastructure bill was also promoted front-and-center by Pete the Mayor.

“The 2024 field has the most naturally gifted candidate.” Cillizza is living on what planet? Mayor Pete, our most famous Transportation Secretary is because of his ineptness.

Cillizza also included Senators Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar and their joint endorsement. The New York TimesIt is not worth anything.

The rest of the candidates on Cillizza’s 2024 contender list just makes you scratch your head in wonderment. The list’s governors make one gasp and then burst into laughter. There’s Gretchen Whitmer (endorsed by the 12 FBI informants in her alleged kidnapping case?), Phil Murphy (who barely won what was supposed to be an easy re-election victory in New Jersey), and J.B. Pritzker (from a state rated as one of the worst to do business in.)

Even a possible future governor on the Cillizza’s list of Biden replacements is utterly laughable: Stacey Abrams.
