Black and Brown Americans Leaving Democratic Party in Droves…Will It Last? – Opinion

Democrats have finally fucked up the system so much that even some of their core voters are leaving. According to a recent poll, support for the party by minority voters is down significantly in the past year. If this trend continues it could have serious ramifications beyond the midterm elections.

It Wall Street Journal released the results of a poll on Friday analyzing American attitudes towards President Joe Biden’s performance in office, among other issues. One result, however, that activists will most likely overlook is that Democrats perform worse with minority voters than their usual performance.

Starting at Journal:

Also, the poll found that Republicans are making progress among minorities. Hispanics voted for a Republican candidate in Congress, by nine percentage points. The two parties had been tied among Hispanic voters in the Journal’s survey in November.

Black voters too have seen their Democratic support for a Democrat in Congress decline from the 56 point in November. This is 35 percentage points less than they were in November. Black support for the Republican candidate increased to 27%, an increase of 12% from November.

Republicans stand to gain a lot from Democrats trying to ruin everything. Turns out refusing to follow through on their promises wasn’t the best strategy for the left. In fact, the dissatisfaction with President Biden has been growing among black voters. Although he made grand promises to repay them for their support, he’s only been able so far to swap menthol cigarettes for crack pipes.

Julian Acciard (a New Hampshire-based conservative candidate of color), told RedState the results from the poll show that there are opportunities for the Republican Party’s to attract more minority voters. “The GOP has an opportunity to win the next generation and 30 years of dominance, if they lean into our party legacy. The original pro-black, pro-woman, pro-Asian, pro-Hispanic, and pro-liberty party is back on the rise,” he said.

Acciard emphasized the importance of Republicans attracting non-white voters, and he said so again.

Like it or not, identity politics is reality, and it’s played just as often by the GOP as it is by the DNC. The national party should think differently and provide solutions that reflect conservative principles of government to address minorities’ concerns in order to end the grip on these voters.

The candidate suggested that the GOP stop relying on “talking points,” and instead, “take every opportunity on air and from the pulpit to pitch actual policy.”

Darvio Morrow, co-host of “The Outlaws Radio Show” and the founder of the FCB Network, also noted that these numbers could be the harbinger of a major shift in the upcoming midterms. “This could be a transformative election,” he said. “I’ve never seen a mainstream poll show that high of black support for Republican congressional candidates. The GOP has a unique opportunity, if they seize it.”

If the numbers are true, Democrats should have lots to be afraid in November. Much of the party’s success has relied on the votes of non-white Americans. Since the GOP has eschewed the idea of actually engaging with these groups over the past 60 years, it wasn’t hard for the left to get their support. But, in the words of Bob Dylan, it seems the times, they are a-changin’. It seems that the Republican Party is finally getting it.

It is important to keep in mind that the GOP has much work to do before they can be considered a viable option to the Democrats. These numbers show that it’s likely the GOP is more concerned with alienating Latinos than persuading African Americans to give up their party. This new trend, however, is encouraging for Republicans. But the question remains: Are they going to seize this opportunity?
