Joe Biden’s memory appeared to fail him again on Sunday as he gave remarks at the Summit of the Americas. A group of Western Hemisphere countries attended the meeting in California. The summit saw corruption and migration eventually become illegal immigration to the United States.
In an attempt to pass the buck, Biden forgot the president he used to work for again, a “mistake” he’s made numerous times going back to the 2020 presidential campaign.

Real people can suffer real consequences if an invalid is elected President of the United States. That’s become abundantly clear as the Southern Border has descended into chaos over the last year- and-a-half. It’s impossible to quantify the suffering and death that has occurred, directly and indirectly, as a result of the president’s horrible policy decisions.
Biden is the anti-leader he is and continues to take responsibility. It’s not a coincidence that he’s plugging Kamala Harris as the one “managing this part of the portfolio” at this meeting–instead of taking responsibility for the disaster that has unfolded to the shock of many. Harris, and not Biden are the president last time I checked. That’s not to defend Harris’ own bad decision-making and lack of leadership skills, but the buck stops at the top, and the man at the top is incapable of doing his job.
Perfectly illustrating that was the fact that all the most important countries boycotted this year’s Summit of the Americas. This news is from The New York Times.
A boycott of the summit by the leaders of several Latin American nations — including Mexico, a regional powerhouse — continued to undermine the gathering organized by the United States.
Biden had intended to gather the leaders from the hemisphere in an act of unity and strength. His refusal to invite multiple authoritarian leaders led to El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Bolivia refusing to go.
Mexico, Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador top the list of countries with the most net migration to America. Biden’s failure to have them there would be a tragedy. It essentially implies that the meeting will not produce any substantive results. After Biden’s remarks were over, the president was criticized by other countries, such as Belize.
“At this most critical juncture, when the future of our hemisphere is at stake, we stand divided,” he said. “And that is why the Summit of the Americas should have been inclusive.”
President Alberto Fernández of Argentina also lashed out at the United States and called for a change in the rules that allowed Mr. Biden, as the host of the summit, to decide who was invited to the gathering.
“We definitely would have wished for a different Summit of the Americas,” he said. “The silence of those who are absent is calling to us.”
This is embarrassing. It’s also absurd to allow the summit to go on without any key players. Although I don’t want to be a dictator, the current crisis requires inclusion.
Returning to those who did attend, it’s obvious they have no respect at all for Biden, which isn’t surprising given his record and his mental state. What would you think if he was a foreign leader speaking? He keeps passing the buck on to Harris, so would you be comfortable trusting him to take charge of anything? I’ve said it before, but it is dangerous to have someone like this holding the presidency.
