The gas prices keep rising and the stupid President of the United States is still to blame. Russia and OPEC for the U.S. oil shortage he and he alone created — On purpose — on day one of his installation in the Oval Office, by killing the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Daily Wire reports that the Biden Administration is gathering information on the Michigan-based pipeline which delivers oil from Canada’s western coast across Wisconsin, Great Lakes, Michigan and Ontario.

Daily Wire, citing a report by subscription-based Politico Pro said that the administration has yet to make a decision on the pipeline. The claim comes after the Canadian government invoked an old international treaty which would have prevented the Michigan state from closing the pipe. Via Politico Pro:

It would also be a welcome move by the White House. But it would only exacerbate the rift between Canada and Canada, which could lead to a rise in energy costs. […]
Biden has been seeing his approval drop in recent months, so it could prove politically poisonous to kill a pipeline when U.S. gas prices are at their highest level in many years.
To that last point, as is the case with every one of his self-created crises, Biden doesn’t seem to give a damn — or no longer has the mental acuity to comprehend — what’s “political poison” and what’s not to his disastrous presidency, as his approval ratings continue to swirl down the toilet at breakneck speed, as we previously reported.
Blatant hypocrisy is a common theme. Biden is an example of blatant hypocrisy. Biden tried his best to comply with several national vaccine mandates. But he later pulled back, attempting to use OSHA’s vaccine/testing mandates to companies employing 100 people or more. But? The illegal immigrants who are COVID positive continue to flow across the southern border. They then get swiftly and incontinentally shipped across the country at night. But I digress.
As to the Michigan pipeline, according to Politico Pro, the impact from shutting it down would be “yuuge.”

Environmental groups and the industry have disagreed over what the consequences of closing the pipeline will be on the region. Line 5 transports crude oil to several refineries around the region, in both the United States of Canada and the United States. Enbridge, a pipeline operator, believes it provides more propane than the majority of northern Michigan’s heating needs.

This contrasts with the Keystone XL pipeline, which was not completed. Line 5 was established in the 1950s. It is the largest energy supplier for Michigan and the surrounding region.
Based on the above, which publishable descriptors for Biden can we use? This guy continues to prove he’s little more than the organ grinder monkey of the radical left, as he does their bidding, seemingly without question, It is obvious that there are no conscience — if not completely plagued by incoherence.
Incidentally, as reported by my RedState colleague Nick Arama on Friday, Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm — ironically, also the former governor of Michigan — laughed out loud when asked about the administration’s “plan” to help bring down gas prices: “HAHAHAHA — That is hilarious!”
