Biden Administration To Lift Remaining COVID Testing Requirements For International Travel – Opinion

Officials in the Biden administration have indicated that one of the most important COVID tests for international flight travel will be removed.

According to the Associated Press, this official said that the government would let international travellers take a COVID test 24 hours before they travel to the United States.

According to a senior official in the administration, Friday’s mandate expires Sunday morning at 12:01 AM EDT. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that they have deemed it no longer necessary.

The government isn’t fully acquiescing its power-grab, however. Official says that the CDC will constantly reevaluate the reinstatement of the requirement.

Speaking under anonymity, the official said the agency would review the necessity for testing every 90-days and it might be reinstated in the event of a troublesome new variant.

This story breaks even as thousands of illegal immigrants walk across America’s southern border on a daily basis, with no testing requirements or legal responsibility for their health status.
