Presses who choose to ignore the Afghanistan anniversary debacle are also likely to be open-minded about the promises they made.
Joe Biden’s decision to evacuate from Afghanistan last summer was such a botched job there is no one item to point to as the main problem. It was an option to use the airport instead of the military base. Rejecting billions upon billionsThe use of military hardware and the ingenious method of board anyone. It also brings known terrorist watchlist members into America.
The desire to protect Biden is so resolutely ignored by the media, it’s no surprise. Ron Klain, Ron Klain and other administration string-pullers can only offer relief. They claim that there have been so many problems that it is difficult to deal with the termination policy. This article will focus only on the exit strategy aspect.
As we watched the chaos unfold, last August was a time when we heard repeatedly that everybody would be getting out. Biden assured that all citizens would receive their expulsion, although there was some risk for those who were not yet with us.

This operation was so inept that it required the help of A variety of private entitiesAmerican citizens and Assets outside of the countryFor weeks, the deadline for extraction was missed. Two months later, it was revealed that more were still left behind. However, the media moved on to other stories.
Today, reports have come out, following a year of media disinterest, that the number of people removed from Afghanistan since that fateful August – again, when promises were made no one was abandoned – is even significantly higher. Politico details the findings of an investigation done by Republicans in the House.
According to the data provided by the State Department and House GOP investigators, the U.S. has officially evacuated over 800 Americans from Afghanistan. This was after the Taliban took power. The figure, which hasn’t been previously reported, highlights the ongoing nature of the efforts to make contact with and ultimately evacuate hundreds of Americans who were unable to leave Afghanistan as the U.S. military rapidly withdrew from the country last summer.
These data show that there were hundreds of more Americans in Afghanistan than previously thought.
Anthony Blinken, the president of Anthony Blinken made it clear that he would be stepping down at the end August. Total number of people still living in AfghanistanThere were 100. Officials estimate that 800 people were taken out of the country since August’s deadline. This number is likely to rise with private companies airlifting more than 1,000. We are now seeing that the administration may only have acknowledged 10% of the actual left behind. This is a further indication of the incompetence displayed in the withdrawal efforts.
Politico also indicates that the Pentagon, along with the State Department, sometimes obstructed this House probe. The pertinent information they needed to help their cause was provided by whistleblowers and former employees of these departments.
Instead of finding closure and clarity after a year we now see that there are more lies and even worse information about the whole enterprise. This scandalous outcome is further exacerbated by the fact that the media complex refuses to hold the administration responsible and question them about the increasing number of issues.
