Liberal media used the incident to inflame hatred towards Republicans, who were not involved in the attack by a left-leaning terrorist. And taking part in fanning those flames was ABC’s vile coven known as The View. On Monday’s show, Joy Behar seemed to openly threaten Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY) and her staff, telling them to “quit now” and that she was “warning” them.
Behar rebuked Republicans for their fanciful mass shooting statistics and collective screams against them. “stop saying that you are pro-life if you are pro-AR-15s” and claimed, without evidence, The shooter was “listening to people like this Elise Stefanik.”
She then made an apparent threat to the Congresswoman.
Elise, we’re all watching you. Someone on Twitter suggested that all your employees should be fired immediately. This is only the beginning! Quit now!
During a time like this when tensions are high and nerves are raw, it’s extremely dangerous to make statements like this. The ViewThey are known to traffic in hate and lies, and their viewers seem to believe everything they have. And who knows who’s listening and could be incited to violence.
Behar’s comments there weren’t the first time during Monday’s show they falsely claimed Stefanik had peddled in “replacement theory.” Co-host and supposed lawyer Sunny Hostin was forced to read a legal note that included Stefanik’s denial of being a racist, which drew jeers and condemnation from the cast:
HOSTIN: Yeah. Ana, that’s my point. We need to point fingersWe had Elise Stefanik, whose spokesperson said that it was Elise Stefanik’s senior advisor — I have a note. A senior adviser for Representative Elise Stefanik said in a statement that, “despite sickening and false reporting, the Congresswoman has never advocated for any racist positions.”
WHOOPI GLOBBERG: It’s not true!
BEHAR: Oh, please!
ANA NAVARRO: It’s in writing! They have all the receipts. They were paid for!
They never presented “the receipts.”
All Stefanik has saidIt is believed that Democrats wanted new voters to register to vote to support them instead of Republicans. She also pointed outHow that was failing them, and Republicans were experiencing historic gains in Hispanic- and African American votership.
“To equate opposition to illegal immigration with Nazism and white supremacy is a desperate attempt to stoke outrage & avoid covering Joe Biden’s border crisis,” Stefanik wrote in a Facebook post about such smears. The killings in Buffalo? she shared on Twitter how she and “our nation is heartbroken and saddened…”
Whoopi Goldberg asserted that they were talking in an a priori after reading the second section of the legal notice, dealing with the smears against Fox News. secret “code” to say racist stuff. “Being black this long, I’m aware! It’s my code. Yes, I do. We recognize it!” she shouted.
The two of them displayed an authoritarian streak and denounced the First Amendment protections.
HOSTIN: They should have the right to cover that up!
GOLDBERG, But they are. Because they can conceal behind the First Amendment.
HOSTIN. But, they should not be permitted to conceal their racist, hateful rhetoric. Ana said that we must be able point this out.
As they headed to commercial they made some funny poses at Congresswoman. “But you have people like Elise saying, ‘but I’m not racist. I’m not pushing it,’”Hostin groaned. Behar responded: “She’s a liar! She’s a liar!”

I will quickly add that what he did was to politicize race theory. It was he who politicized it. He says that Democrats have replaced native-born Americans by immigrant voters.
GOLDBERG : Many Democrats are American voters. Tucker, what are you talking?
HOSTIN: It’s replacement theory. We hear it and know that it is code.
GOLDBERG: Being black this long, I’m aware! That’s the code. Yes, I do. It’s there!
HOSTIN: They should have the right to cover that up!
GOLDBERG, But they are. Because they can conceal behind the First Amendment.
HOSTIN: They shouldn’t hide hateful and racist rhetoric. Ana is right. We need to be able point this out.
SARA HAINES: But Sunny, they’re not hiding.
BEHAR: Let’s not forget where this started. This all started with birtherism. You mean it has been here for years.

BEHAR “Jews will not replace us.” You remember that? This is how it started, and has only continued to get worse.
GOLDBERG : This has been in existence for a while. Now it’s available. It’s no longer me saying, “hey, does that rub anybody else the wrong way?” It’s real.
HOSTIN: But you have people like Elise saying, “but I’m not racist. I’m not pushing it.”
