BBC Cares More About LGBT Pieties Than Rape Victims

Not even one day into the left’s favorite liturgical celebration of Pride Month, corporations have already bowed down to the LGBT community. In this period, only the extreme LGBT philosophy is dominant. This includes the obsession with proper pronouns. However, they wouldn’t go as far to force their ideology onto the testimony of rape victim.

BBC obtained an anonymous account from a lesbian about her rape by a man believing he was lesbian. For some reason, the BBC decided the best course of action was to change the woman’s testimony from “him” to “they,” prioritizing the demands of the rapist over the words of a rape victim.

It was the man who raped her, as evident in the quote by an anonymous lesbian. The quote reads:  “I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so he was a ‘woman’ even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout, so I agreed to go home with him. After seeing his penis, he used force to get me back on my feet and raped him. BBC altered the testimony to make it more accurate. Although the victim was actually raped using a male part of her body, the BBC initially wanted to change all masculine pronouns to feminine. A source told The Times The original male reference was for the website, however the “woke bros” wanted to change the gendering of the references. It’s quite shocking. There is no other scenario where the victim of a rape would have their words changed.

The left, which once espoused “believe all women,” is now altering testimony in the name of identity politics and diversity. This article now accepts the notion that there’s no distinction between a woman who is lesbian and a man who thinks he is one. A lesbian who refuses to have sex with men, is now considered transphobic. To defend their insanity, BBC said, “It’s routine to have editorial discussions about different stories. Our only intention when deciding on language is to make things as clear as possible for audiences.” To the leftist media, calling men, women, or one person “they” is their standard for clarity.

Because of their strong influence, the LGBT community demands that media change the truth in order to please them. How can BBC trust it with truthful reporting if they cannot give unaltered testimony?
