A somewhat comical moment occurred when Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, interrupted Sen. Ted Cruz.
Siri interrupts Cruz while he was discussing how Big Tech caused the U.S. election losses.
They are hard left, Big Tech. These people aren’t just Democrats. They are to the left side of the Democratic Party. They’re trying drive the Democratic Party to the left,” Cruz said on Fox News Monday. “And you know what, they’re trying to drive the Democratic Party left,” Cruz said on Fox News Monday.
“Something went wrong. Please try again,” Siri said from Cruz’s iPhone.
Cruz joked, while holding his cellphone. “Siri just said, ‘Something went wrong. Please try again.’”
Siri is mad. Siri, sorry.” He laughed.
Cruz said that free speech is under attack in America, and said the left just doesn’t believe in the right to it anymore.
“When hearings are held, I chaired several hearings regarding Big Tech censorship. Democrats appear, first, they state that it doesn’t occur, or it is simply not possible. Cruz said that number two is when they are engaged, they say “censor more” and lean in to confirm. Big Tech was the reason Democrats are furious. How the heck did Donald Trump become President in 2016? Is it possible to let any conservative talk over Big Tech? The almost universal message of Democrats is to censor more and silence all views we don’t agree with.”
