AMC Drama ’61st Street’ Continues Anti-Cop Crusade: ‘Scrap the Whole Thing!’

AMC’s super woke, anti-cop drama 61st Street has continued to pour it on thick with their extremist, far-left, Black Lives Matter (BLM) agenda. In the past two episodes, the show has falsely claimed that police presence in schools is a “declaration of war” and that the system can’t be reformed, because it supposedly began as a slave-catching patrol and is therefore “functioning as it should.” It also denounced the justice system for “locking (black) people up.”

In last week’s episode, “Chess Moves and Poker Chips,” the show’s annoyingly self-righteous character Martha (Aunjanue Ellis), who is running for alderman on Chicago’s South Side, spoke at a church about police officers in public schools, ranting, “they pay for the people who kill our children to be in school with them”:

MarthaDavid, my beautiful son has autism. He needs a social worker because his regular teachers are not able to meet him. Carmen is her name. My son Carmen must stop being Carmen’s daytime mother by the week’s end. Why? We have lost funding for her at our schools. Gleichzeitig, They will pay to have more police in our schools. What does this mean? They make sure that our children are enrolled in schools with the murderers. If I have ever heard of one, that is a declaration. No, no, no, no. Let’s not call it that. This is an act of war.

Ironically, after making it appear as if police had killed her autistic son when he was wandering lost in a white neighborhood, this week’s episode, “Over the Wall,” showed they brought him home safely, albeit after scaring him by demanding he show his hands as officers You are required To protect their public and themselves, there are certain things you should do.

Their own stories were so ironic that they failed to recognize it. Removing officers from her son’s school leaves him more vulnerable and unprotected. A social worker won’t do much good if a school shooter shows up or if a fellow student tries to assault her son with a weapon.

Martha continued preaching in her typical haughty manner in this week’s episode at a televised debate with her opponent in which she pushed for the complete eradication of our entire justice and police system despite the fact her husband is a lawyer. In Martha’s opinion, bringing bad police officers to justice isn’t good enough and holding black criminals accountable is wrong:

Opponent: The new development I’m backing brings new money in, and new money means jobs, and jobs means that –

Martha??I would like to ask my rival a question.

Moderator: Okay, sure. Councilor?

MarthaYou know Rufus Porter, yes?

Opponent: No. Rufus Porter doesn’t exist.

Martha: Yeah, He was a little boy, who was gunned down by our police on our ward. You don’t even know his name. It’s not because you aren’t caring. You stopped listening. Because Too many Rufus Porters are there to recall. The cop that shot Rufus Porter is not going to be prosecuted. I do not want the justice system to encourage police officers to be prosecuted. I don’t care about reform. American policing began with slave-catching in plantations. It is impossible to reform an existing system. The whole system must be destroyed! Shame on those of you who participate in this system which locks people up. Shame on you all.

Pushing the false narrative that policing has origins in slave-catching on plantations is rather dubious of the show, but it’s a typical straw man argument used by SJWs in an attempt to bolster their position. Black lives are important, so any cop that is racist or abuses his power should be held responsible.

However, it is possible to get a refund if you do not comply with the terms of your contract. 61It is possible toStreet truly cared about black lives, they wouldn’t be depicting the South Side as an innocent, safe neighborhood as they have. The show suggests that police pose the greatest threat to black residents. In reality, less than half of all deaths in police-related incidents are actually caused by police.

They should show that blacks are the greatest threat to their lives, and that criminal violence is a greater risk than the lives of all Vietnamese civilians. As crime rates continue to rise, police funding has been reduced and standards in the hiring of officers have fallen, attrition has skyrocketed.

BLM Initiatives are actually killing black lives. 61st Street wants to promote them? AND get rid of any justice system that holds officers who are not qualified for the job. Is that possible in today’s world?

Oh, that’s right. Liberal Hollywood. Their harmful propaganda is not self-limiting. It has far-reaching effects across the entire country. It is imperative that this show be cancelled immediately.
