ALWAYS WATCHING: CNN En Español Begrudgingly Acknowledges MRC Latino

Here’s something you don’t see every day: CNN En Español took time from their report on the latest brutal poll of the Biden administration in order to acknowledge the work of MRC Latino.

JUAN CARLOS LOPEZ CNN – President Biden is in Virginia today as part his efforts to advance his economic agenda. A CNN poll shows that the president of the United States isn’t very popular. We’ll now look at the answers to some questions in the poll, which was conducted between January 10th through February 6th. There is a margin of error of 3.3%. Biden’s presidential performance- only 41% approve and 58% disapprove. The margin of error here is 3.5…3.3%. How do poll respondents choose to disapprove or approve of Biden’s performance as president? Only 46% of respondents approve of the President’s efforts to protect democracy. They also approve on the coronavirus (45), education-46, China relations-42, Russia relationships-42, 42% and 41% on the helping middle class. Just 37% of those polled approve the performance of the president. The US’s ethnic divisions are what caused the differences in their approval ratings. Let’s take a look at the poll. The approval rating for Biden is 32% among whites. This is 69% for Blacks and 51% for Latinos. These figures should be pleasing. Our friends from MRC, who are always on the lookout for our activities.

It must’ve been painful for López to deliver this poll, hence that throwaway line about our prospective enjoyment of those figures, delivered with a sneer.

It is a testament to the positive impact of MRC Latino. And although we appreciate the shoutout, we’d be neglectful in our duties if we didn’t point out that López omitted the most damning figure of the CNN poll, which aired on the network’s flagship station: the one where 56% of respondents said “nothing” when asked if Biden has done anything that they approved of.
