Proving that his show is the antithesis of Brian Stelter’s Trustworthy Sources, Fox News Channel’s Howard Kurtz took a flamethrower to the media for what he noticed “feels like an orchestrated campaign” to knock both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden out of the 2024 presidential campaign before they even announce.
Kurtz opened Sunday’s MediaBuzz proclaiming “I’ve never seen anything remotely like it, the media are trying to knock President Biden out of the running for a second term.” He added that “if the media were a political organization, as some of their critics believe, we’d say they’re carpet bombing Joe Biden, trying to damage him to the point where he can’t run again.”
Proving once again that he’s fair to both sides in his coverage, Kurtz pointed out the obvious that “the media are also attempting to disqualify Donald Trump, on grounds of shrinking support in his party. This is far less shocking, but nonetheless happening. The press does not want a rematch.”
Kurtz reminded viewers of the media speculation surrounding Biden’s presidency before it began:
Do you remember how everybody thought that Biden would get away with it because he wasn’t Trump? Now, that’s all gone. Look at this newspaper Sunday. New York Times. Biden’s old age is a problem. Many Americans believe Mr. Biden to be too old. However, some Democratic strategists think that he shouldn’t run again. Monday’s New York TimesNew polls show that most Democrats are against Biden’s candidacy in 2024. It is 64%. Tuesday’s Times columnist pleads to Biden not for his election.
“Tuesday’s Times, half of GOP voters ready to leave Trump behind, poll finds, and a significant number vowing to abandon him if he wins the nomination,” Kurtz said, pointing out how it’s clear the media doesn’t want either candidate to run in 2024.
He ended his monologue by asking rhetorically “who exactly anointed journalists to try to muscle candidates out of the presidential race and more than two years early, if they’re damaged, they think they can’t win, maybe they’ll decide against running. But too many in the news media are acting like mob bosses and are sacrificing what remains of their credibility.”
What Kurtz didn’t point out is that the media is still trying to cover for Joe Biden like they do for every Democrat President.
It is notable that they seem to be laying groundwork for another young and radical Democrat to run 2024.
Then the leftist media can cover for him or her without having to worry about some of Biden’s constant gaffes.

Eastern Time: 11:00:29HOWARD KURTZ: I’ve never seen anything remotely like it, the media are trying to knock President Biden out of the running for a second term. This feels like an organized campaign. The media, as critics claim, is a political organisation. We would say that they are carpet-bombing Joe Biden to make him unable to run again.
The media also want to disqualify Donald Trump because of his declining support. This is less shocking, but nonetheless happening. It isn’t what the media wants. You remember how everybody thought that Biden would get away with it because he wasn’t Trump. Now, that’s all gone. Look at this newspaper Sunday. New York Times. Biden is getting older, which can be a major problem.
According to polls, many Americans think Mr. Biden is too old. Some Democratic strategists don’t believe he should run for another term. Monday’s New York TimesAccording to a new poll, the majority of Democrats do not want Biden running in the 2024 election. It is 64%. Tuesday’s Times columnist pleads for Biden to not run. Then there is the ex-President.
Tuesday’s Times: Poll finds half of GOP voters want to leave Trump. Many more vow to follow his lead if he is elected. Trump responded, “This is great, but the failure.” New York TimesFake news is responsible for a 40% drop in annual sales. Their journalists are dishonest. They have hatred for our country. The New York TimesThe enemy of the people is really him.
Of course, media wouldn’t be guilty of malpractice if it didn’t cover Biden’s poor poll numbers, or whether Trump was hurt by the Hill Hearings. Who exactly appointed journalists to push candidates out of the race for president? And this is more than two years before election day. If they feel they aren’t able to win or they have been damaged by their reporting, then they might decide to not run. Too many news media professionals are being treated like mob bosses, and they are losing their credibility.
