ABC’s GMA Decries Voting Integrity Laws: They ‘Make It Harder to Vote’!

2022 is the Biden Administration’s first (and maybe only?) midterm election year The result of which will ultimately decide the fate of the rest of the Democratic Party’s agenda. Knowing this, ABC’s Good Morning AmericaOn Sunday, they lied to their viewers and were critical of election integrity laws in some parts of the country.

Janai Norman was asked by Rick Klein, ABC’s political director to tell her and anyone watching at home about the episode. Many states have made changes to their voting laws. As we enter a midterm year, this could make an impact. Klein tried to spook people by suggesting that “In the past year, the structure of voting was fundamentally changed.

He went on to lie about 19 states being in the process of merging. “put new laws onto the books that make it harder to vote or change the voting processes in a way that adds a burden for many, many voters.”Referring to voter integrity legislation which would demand voter identification in order for voters to be able to verify their identities when they vote.

Klein then continued to prove once and for all that he’s just a Democrat operative dressed up as a journalist by repeating the lie that “many of those laws were inspired by the lies that President Trump and his supporters told. Others were just sort of straightening up loose ends after the Covid era.” This is despite Republicans having been advocating voter integrity legislation for years before Trump ever considered running.

Not to let facts get in the way of pushing the Democrat Party agenda, Klein continued “But don’t make any mistake. There will be a change of voting, even in large states such as Georgia and Texas.” Klein concluded by urging voters to “do their homework and figure out how those changes will affect them.”

Or they can simply pull out their drivers license or other form of photo identification and ensure they’re at their polling place before the polls close on Election Day. This is all that a registered voter will need to prove.

Instead of correcting him, Norman simply repeated Klein “like you said, people have to do their homework, and voting rights will remain in the spotlight as we head into the Midterms.”

This report can be listened to by you Good Morning AmericaThis morning you’d think that Republicans wanted voters to pick out the correct number from a hat or guess how many beans are in the jar to allow them to vote. Shameful!

JANAI NORMAN, CO-HOST: The riots that broke out at Capitol last year were largely motivated by baseless claims regarding the 2020 election. There have also been changes in voting laws in a few states. As we now enter a midterm year, that could have an important impact. Please explain that.

RICK KLEIN (ABC NEWS POLITICAL ADVERTISER): This country’s voting system has undergone significant changes in just the past year. New laws have been passed in 19 states that will make voting more difficult or alter the voting process, creating a new burden on many voters. It is not an academic argument. Many of the laws that were passed in this country stemmed from lies told by President Trump’s supporters. Some were just to tidy up after the Covid era. But don’t be fooled. Voting will change in many states, such as Arizona, Texas, Florida and Georgia. The people need to be able to understand the implications of these changes and remember Janai. We are already involved in them. Texas is hosting the 2022 first round of voting, which will take place just next month, ahead of the March 1st primary.

NORMAN : People have to do their research, which is why voting rights will continue to be a major topic as we move into the Midterms. Rick, I am so grateful.
