With the news Monday morning that Dr. Anthony Fauci will be leaving his position as President Biden’s chief medical adviser and head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to reportedly write a book and pursue other ventures, ABC’s World News Tonight Fauci was extolling his admiration and he laughedly claimed that he “always pushing to science first.”
Anchor David Muir began with the devastating news for leftists all around: “Dr. Anthony Fauci is retiring from the National Institutes of Health after serving seven presidents (Republicans, Democrats).
For her report, chief White House correspondent Cecilia Vega lauded Fauci as “one of the most visible faces in the fight against COVID, both revered and loathed.” Vega also said that he has “advised seven presidents (all of them since Ronald Reagan) on all fronts of anything from Ebola, Zika to the fight for HIV and AIDS.” Yet there was no mention of his disastrous handling of the HIV and AIDS epidemic which cost the lives of untold numbers of people suffering from the disease.
As if her fawning was not embarrassing enough, Vega gushed that she “always pushing science first in the White House.” Fauci would sometimes become exasperated and hold his head in both hands. His death threat and rallying cry to conservatives against masks and lockdowns made him the target of death threats.”
Fauci, who has repeatedly contradicted himself about what “the science says” regarding how the public should react to the COVID-19 epidemic is absurd.
Vega finished by praising Republicans’ promises to investigate Fauci over his handling of the pandemic. David today Republicans are here in Washington indicating that if the Republicans take control in November they intend to investigate Fauci regarding his handling of this Pandemic.
