Mike Lindell Tries To get Back On Twitter, Gets Resuspended

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell tried to get himself out of Twitter jail on Monday, but it didn’t go so well.

Lindell made a new profile and posted about his arrival around 1:25 pm. This tweet, which was also deleted with the account, reads:

“Hello everybody, I’M BACK ON TWITTER. @MikeJLindell is my only account! “Please RT, FOLLOW and SPREAD THE WORD!”

According to Newsweek, the account gained over 20,000 followers within 5 minutes, and had gained more than 37,000 followers by 4:44 p.m. But shortly after 5 p.m., the free speech police of the Twitterverse cut the cord on Lindell’s short-lived time on the platform.

Lindell was originally suspended in January of 2021 when he claimed the 2020 presidential election was rigged, which went against Twitter’s bogus “civc integrity policy.” His latest attempt to get his right to free speech back violated Twitter’s ban evasion policy.

The CEO is not the only conservative-leaning person or company that is still banned from Twitter even after Elon Musk’s takeover. The satire website The Babylon Bee was locked out of its account on March 20 and still hasn’t re-obtained access.

Hopefully Elon Musk’s claim to try to bring a more free-speech based approach to the social media app means that both these accounts will get reinstated. If not, then why would we spend $44 billion on social media?
