PGA Reporter Fired After Being Denied Religious Exemption From COVID Mandates

Three young men named Shadrach and Meshach were killed by the King of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar after they refused to worship the gargantuan god of gold. While we don’t have a government that is forcing Christians to bow to idols of metal, Christians are increasingly being punished for not bowing to the god of COVID.

Teryn Gregson was a PGA Tour host and reporter as of Monday but was terminated after the company refused to provide her a religious exemption from it’s testing and mask mandates for unvaccinated employees.

Gregson is a passionate Christian who also has a child. She made an emotional speech online expressing her views on vaccines and mandates.

The belief system that a person chooses to follow is a must. But when a government (like Babylon or the current United States) or businesses decide to encroach within that space and claim ultimate authority over people’s lives, they have done something very ominous: they have declared themselves to be god.

That is why Gregson’s situation is unsettling and should come as a warning sign to everyone. Teams often tell their employees and players to stop expressing religious opinions. This goes against our freedom to worship rights as Americans and is dangerous for the amount of power the government has over us.

Gregson took the opportunity, just like the men from Babylon, to show her faith and to encourage a more united country, despite having been axed because of something so absurd as this.

“I hope that we can come together and unite on this issue and not treat people differently based on a very private medical decision that they make between themselves, and their family, and their doctor, and God.”

According to the Bible, three men survived being cast into the fiery furnace in order to be rewarded for loyalty. Gregson is likely to have a similar salvation experience from her enemies.
