YouTube will present a special series featuring Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States for Kids. The HillThese are reports.
The series, called “Get Curious with Vice President Harris,” will debut Thursday at 9 am. Harris is Harris’s home.
Harris will also be available to take the children on a scavenger hunt. Harris expressed excitement about the series.
“My mom was a scientist. Harris, the National Space Council’s chief executive, stated that she would often take her children to the laboratory with her during weekends or after school, because of the long work hours.
It’s a joy to explore the unknown. It’s going to be so exciting as we grow more interested and curious in what space can offer us. That’s one of the things I’m most excited about,” she added.
The special will show children how to make their own telescope and discuss some of the vice president’s duties.
“We are over the moon to be working with Vice President Harris on this exciting special that encourages kids to ask questions and explore space,” Nadine Zylstra, a YouTube spokesperson, said in a statement. “Upholding our commitment to inspiring kids’ interests and learning, this special delivers quality, educational programming to our young viewers around the globe — and it’s pretty cool to have the Vice President of the United States and astronaut Shane Kimbrough help us do it.”
