Tuesday, Morning JoeMika Brzezinski (liberal co-host) sounded like an hawk when it came to Ukraine. The host approvingly mentioned foreign policy experts calling Russian’s invasion of eastern provinces an invasion and suggested that Biden’s actions so far were inadequate.
Brzezinski surprisedly reacted in this surprising manner to the crisis’s escalating nature:
Brzezinski turned to Richard Haass of the Council on Foreign Relations and asked: “I want to know if you would describe the Biden strategy thus far as passive defense, with economic sanctions as the central point?” Is that it? It is it? Not enough “Do you not want to respond to McFaul’s and Cheney’s invasion?
Moments later she noted: “There are many pretty smart minds in foreign policy who are worried thatWe are not strong enough in our responses“The sanctions currently in place don’t penalize those who do wrong.”
Retired Admiral James StavridisThe former Supreme All-Allied Commander of NATO was. Mika has agreedIt said “Yes, it’s an invasion” and that Putin must be “slapped down” now.

Mika may be surprising to see her views as a Biden fan, but she is also a strong supporter of the late Senator. However, she was also born to the late Mika. Zbigniew BrzezinskJimmy Carters’s ex-National Security Advisor. Her father, though liberal, was strongly anti communist. He had seen Poland fall at Soviet hands and was an avid supporter of democracy. He was. Born in a parIt is said that Poland now forms part of Ukraine!
Also, it should be mentioned that Brzezinski’s brother Mark, who is a member the Biden State department and was recently sworn into the U.S. Ambassador to Poland

6:04 am ETMIKA BRZEZINSKI Ex-ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul tweeted“When Russian soldiers invade Ukraine, right now, and you put quotation marks around it, that is the language Putin will want you to use. You can call it an invasion.
Republican Congresswoman, and member of the House Armed Services Committee Liz Cheney tweets, “Russia invades Ukraine.” Our allies and the Biden administration must immediately impose all crippling sanctions.”
Richard Haass asked me a simple question before we start to discuss all options available in terms sanctions. Is the Biden strategy passive deterrence or is the center of Biden’s economic sanctions? Has that been successful? It is it? Not enough McFaul & Cheney don’t call it an invasion.
. . .
Foreign policy is a field that has many wise people who care about the consequences of their actions. We are not strong enough in our responsesThe sanctions currently in place don’t actually punish those who do wrong.
Admiral Stavridis, here’s the bottom lineRussia has entered Ukraine. There are troops from Russia inside Ukraine. We can understand what you mean. But, isn’t there the fact the troops in the separatist area, making it possible for that full-scale invasion, which seems even more horrific?
JAMES STAVRIDIS : Yes, of course. . . You’re probably aware that I believe this at this moment. The hamme must be lowered.R, an even larger package of sanctions that are quite significant. . . I believe it’s high time to get out. Mika: We are losing our ability to read words, to seek out a way to diplomacy.
