WATCH: Tucker Reacts to Biden’s Divisive Speech in the Way Only He Can

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted President Joe Biden in the immediate aftermath of his bitterly partisan and divisive speech to the nation on the tragic elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas in which 18 elementary school children and one teacher were killed.

Carlson who feared that Biden might further divide the nation during his speech, warned viewers moments before Biden appeared on the podium. “if the President uses the deaths of children to try to make himself more powerful, he really is a loathsome man unworthy of leading this country.” But if he doesn’t, Carlson hedged, “he will get praise from us and from every American.”

Unfortunately, Biden was the one to do it.

Instead of giving a speech to unite and calm a heartbroken nation, Biden decided to go after his political opponents and the “gun lobby.” “As a nation, we have to ask when in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby. When in God’s name are we going to do what we all know in our gut needs to be done,” Biden angrily said.

Carlson snuck up on Biden seconds after he finished speaking and left the room.

Failing, confused and bitterly divided, President of United States is desecrating the memory recently murdered children’s lives with the tired talk points of Democratic Party. He divides the nation in an instant of deep pain, rather than unifying it, and his voice rises as he repeats talking points that he has repeated over 35 years in Congress, with partisan politics the only thing that drives him. He is unfit to be the leader of this country.

Biden wasn’t alone in his politicization of the shooting in Texas, all afternoon and evening, the vile leftists on CNN, MSNBC, and the network newscasts used the tragedy to target gun owners and make ghoulish comments to stoke further division.

TUCKER CARLSON: So Joe Biden is about to address the country in response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, we’ll bring that to you in a moment. It is obvious that the President may use the death of children as a way to increase his power, which can be a sign of his utter loathfulness. But he might not. He might rise above this and attempt to unify the country. In which case, he would get our praise and that of every American.

CARLSON – The President of America, frail, confused and bitterly partisan. In a moment of great pain, instead of uniting the country, his voice rises, amplified by the same talking points he used for more than 35 years as the United States Senator, partisan politics being all that motivates him. He is unfit to be the leader of this country.
