Washington Stand Tallies 41 Heinous Attacks on Life Affirming Groups

Hell on Earth, churches and other organizations that attempt to save children are being destroyed.

A draft of the U.S. Supreme Court was published leaked on May 2. This draft suggested that the Court planned to repeal 1973 Roe v. Wade. Since then, there have been attacks on life affirming organizations every week and in total, 41 separate incidents, according to The Washington Stand.

The Washington Stand is Family Research Council’s outlet for news and commentary. One of the senior editors, Dan Hart, penned a piece titled “Churches and Pro-Life Orgs Have Been Attacked 41 Times in the Last 40 Days.” Hart included the fact that that these 41 separate incidents don’t even include the nine other “occurrences of physical violence against pro-life advocates” or threats/disturbances against churches.

Hart provided the growing list of these 41 attacks spanning from May 2, 2022 until June 13.

After the leak of the SCOTUS draft had been published, the initial attack took place. A Catholic Church in Boulder, Colorado was vandalized with “My Body My Choice” graffiti. Abortion activists have an easy target because the Catholic Church strongly opposes the killing of unborn children. According to Hart’s list, 33 other attacks happened in the month of May alone, 16 of them being at churches.

So far in June, we’ve seen seven attacks within 13 days. As the Roe decision on Roe v. Wade is expected to be released this week, the number of such attacks will increase especially if Roe gets overturned. On Saturday, June 11, a Gresham, Oregon pregnancy resource center was set on fire.

Hart mentioned the hypocrisy of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security when the group issued a “Terrorism Threat” advisory on June 7 that “appeared to equate the amount of violent incidents from activists on both sides of the abortion issue.”

Newsflash – Pro-Life activists and those who advocate abortion are at odds.

In Hart’s piece, he included a quote from the director of Family Research Council’s Center for Human Dignity.

For the last 49 years — each time the pro-life movement had encountered an uncertain future, whether it be the future of an unexpectedly pregnant mom or of Supreme Court decisions, the movement has responded with an outpouring of love, resources, and prayer. The exact opposite holds true for the pro-abortion sector. Their solution to uncertainty about a mother’s future has always been violence and destruction in the sacred space of the mother’s womb. The pro-abortion movement now faces uncertainty about the Supreme Court’s future ruling is no surprise. Their response is violence.

The “both side” advice from Homeland Security is useless for another reason: Should Roe be overturned in Dobbs’ decision, that will spell doom for the abortion advocates. While losers may vent in frustration and fury, the winners are more calm.

Hart provided some encouraging news by stating that “Ruth Sent Us”, a pro-abortion group, had shut down its website. The site had many addresses and was taken down by Justice Brett Kavanaugh. You will notice that “Ruth Sent Us”, although it is one of many evil, violent and criminal abortion activists groups, has not been followed by many other, if at all.

Although I would love to have more encouraging news, the 41 incidents are likely just the beginning.
