On Wednesday, shockwaves erupted across Washington, D.C. and Indiana when the sad news of Jackie Walorski’s death (R-Ind.) broke.).
According to local news reports Walorski, 58, and two members of her staff – district director Zachary Potts and comms director Emma Thompson – were killed in a car crash that happened in Elkhart County around 12:30 pm local time when a driver going in the opposite direction reportedly crossed over the center line and hit their vehicle head-on.
Edith Schmucker was also the driver.
While there were many expressions of sorrow and shock from both sides, including President Biden and Nancy Pelosi ordering that flags be flown at half-staff at Capitol Building and White House, respectively, in honor of Walorski’s death, the Washington Post was hard at work writing a report about her passing.
The story was fairly straightforward, noting the details of the crash and that Walorski was a Christian who had “worked in journalism and academia” before she got elected to Congress, where she served the 2nd Congressional District for ten years.
But it was towards the end of the piece where the WaPo made sure to load up on the insinuations as to the type of Republican Walorski was, pointing out that she “opposed the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act” before making sure to weave in the Capitol riot and Walorski’s vote against certifying Joe Biden’s election:
Earlier this month, she opposed the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act, calling Democrats’ stance on abortion “dangerous” and “extreme.”
“At Speaker Pelosi’s urging, House Democrats once again voted to greenlight abortion at any time in pregnancy, anywhere in the country, and bankrolled by American taxpayers,” Walorski said in a statement. “Abortion on demand is a direct affront to pro-life values and Americans’ conscience rights.”
Donald Trump fan, Walorski opposed impeaching President Trump in 2021 because of his participation in the attack on Capitol that resulted with the deaths and injuries to four officers, and over 100 other law enforcement officers. She also voted against confirming Democrat Joe Biden’s victories in Arizona and Pennsylvania in the 2020 presidential election.

While her votes and stances are, of course, a matter of public record, the Washington Post didn’t word them in such a way because they were simply trying to be informative. This was done to ask her character questions in a manner that would give the majority of left-leaning Resistance members something to eat.
These people are like this man, who according to his profile on Twitter is a member the L.A. County Democratic Party:

In contrast, ISIS leader Abu Bakker al-Baghdadi’s October 2019 obituary in the Washington Post initially characterized the terrorist as an “austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State” in their headline before changing it to read “extremist leader of Islamic State”:
It was perfect the first time.

Yet, the mainstream media continues to wonder why trust has fallen so low and why people are so hostile towards their games.
It’s like they just can’t help themselves
