Not one conservative was stunned (but we were still amused!) by the outright meltdowns that occurred last night in the fever swamps of liberal media news outlets like MSNBC, where Joy Reid and Nicolle Wallace did their thing and proceeded to trot out the “white supremacy” and “raaacism” cards with wild abandon, because when all else fails for Democrats the race card must be used to explain away their legislative and Election Day woes.
It was the subject of Joy Reid’s comments in particular about the smackdown Democrats took last night in Virginia, where Democrat gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe went down in defeat to Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin, the House of Delegates flipped red again, and Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears nominee and Jason Miyares, Attorney Gen. nominee won their races. That was brought up during an interview Sears conducted with Fox News.
Sears was the first female black person to be elected Lt. Governor. in the state of Virginia, was asked by anchor Martha MacCallum to respond to what Reid said last night about her and Youngkin’s respective victories. Before we get to the video, let’s look at what Reid said:
“…you have to be willing to vocalize that these Republicans are dangerous. That this isn’t a party that’s just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy. That at this point, they’re dangerous. They’re dangerous to our national security because stoking that kind of soft white nationalism eventually leads to the hardcore stuff.”
In response, Sears told MacCallum that she wished Reid would be “woman enough” to invite her on to her program where they’d have a “real discussion” about the issues instead of Reid doing what she normally does by creating evil Republican strawmen and then arguing against them.

Sears, as we reported previously, has an interesting backstory. It shows the potential of what one can achieve if you work hard and are determined. Here’s part of what she said during her victory speech last night:
“They would like us to believe we are back in 1963 when my father came,” she said. “Here I am, living proof. In case you haven’t noticed, I am black, and I have been black all my life. But that’s not what this is about.” She said they are now going to be about the business of the commonwealth. She said they were going to make sure Virginians kept more money in their pockets and “our children are going to get a good education!” “I didn’t want to run to make history,” Sears said. “I just wanted to leave it better than I found it…Hold on Virginia!…The cavalry has arrived!…Thank you, Jesus! How Delicious it is!”

As for that offer to come on Reid’s show, we’ll keep you posted on if Reid is woman enough to take her up on it. In the meantime, we’re stocking up on the popcorn just in case…
