After playing a montage of left-wing media pundits and “journalists” regurgitating the White House’s lines on rising energy and food prices, Pirro remarked that “if ever there were a question as to whether or not the mainstream media is the trumpet for the left and for the Biden administration, you just saw it.”
“Everything that Biden says, they say. Ukraine is responsible for the rise in gas prices. This is all about war. But Americans aren’t that stupid, Greg, are the,”Pirro inquired if Gutfeld was being referred to in the questions she asked him.
Gutfeld pointed to the inconsistency of leftists, both in media and government, who advocate banning fossil fuels but simultaneously complain about the rise in gas prices.
As they claim that domestic drilling is a price increase by Putin, they are trying to ban it. That’s like kicking somebody in the head and blaming it on the donkey down the road. Bidenflation is the reason for price increases. What is the best way to know this? Oil isn’t all that goes up. You can also buy baby food, bacon and bedding. That’s all going up. It could be gas, but you might say, “Maybe become of that, that, the other.”
Gutfeld continued ripping into the media and environmental activist’s hypocrisy by noting “the weirdest contradiction is that the Dems are blaming Putin for gas inflation but they already wanted it to go up. Shouldn’t they be thanking him for helping reduce our carbon emissions?”
Gutleld and Pirro are right. As MRC founder and President Brent Bozell pointed out during a Thursday morning appearance on Fox Business Network’s Varney & Co., the media are indeed blaming Russia for the high gas prices instead of Biden: “Since the war began, we’ve looked at NBC so far, trying to see who they blame for skyrocketing gas. Since the war began, they’ve blamed the Russians 16 times, the pandemic seven times, and Joe Biden once”Bozell stated.

They put gasoline in their tanks and they are aware of the price they paid for gas before they went to war.

All of them. It’s odd that Dems blame Putin, but want gas inflation to increase. Why shouldn’t they thank him for his contribution to reducing carbon emissions? Russia infiltrated green groups to help us get our domestic oil off the market and purchase their foreign oil. Putin was able to use the radical green plan that was meant to remove us from our oil domestically and allow them to buy foreign oil. They served as Putin’s puppet throughout. Russia funded all the celebrities who spoke out against fracking and for pipelines. It’s amazing!
