After Tuesday’s edition of ABC’s The View, it’s no wonder the show was having an extremely hard time finding a conservative to fill former co-host Meghan McCain’s seat. Between co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar alone, there were accusations the Republican Party wanted to steal the right to vote from black Americans with women next on the list and wanting to “destroy” the entire country. It was all unhinged lies.
According to Goldberg, the “big plan” the right was cooking up was to take away the right to vote from all minority groups. “The people will be angry if they lose their voting rights. However, there is nothing that can be done because the government has taken control.,” she said
She then added: “The women will be next. We’re going to take your rights away just like we’re taking X, Y, and Z because there’ll be nothing you can do.”
Goldberg continued with his assertion, which is unsupported by evidence that slavery was not permitted to be taught at schools and Anne Frank were not allowed to teach it.
Talk about anti-Semitism. We talk about Anne Frank. But, it’s not possible to teach about the horrors of black people. That isn’t — that is being sort of called – “Well, that’s just you whining. That’s just you saying this is happening to me.”
Behar went on to say that the Republican Party is ready to abolish the First Amendment, just a few minutes later. “[L]Let’s assume that the autocrat running the country gets about 90 percent. Other one receives 10 percent. You know they censor journalists. It will occur here,” she said. “If the Republicans return to power, that will be what I believe here..”
Whining about opposition getting a fraction of the time to speak is rich when it’s on a show with the vast majority of the co-hosts firmly on the left, and this hostile to the Republican view.
Spewing even more noxious bile, Behar added: “They are intractable at the moment. They are not able to be reasoned with. They will kill you and are shameless..”
They were getting close to the commercial break when Sunny Hostin, their co-host, claimed they had been canceled. Democrats always have to “save the country,”Goldberg was equated Republican gatherings to sounding like beetles “agitating” their legs and reiterated the falsehood that the GOP were targeting women:
GOLDBERG – All the people who think this isn’t going to happen are wrong! It’s actually happening!
HOSTIN – Because you vote does not count right now.
GOLDBERG: That’s it. You can go to any place you want.
[CROSSTALK]
BEHAR: You can’t vote if you don’t know how to. I’m sorry.
GOLDBERG: You can’t vote if you don’t live in a democracy. That’s right.
Unironically, at one point Goldberg had either a case of projection or a Freudian slip when she huffed that some Americans “Want to be controlled.” This show has dedicated viewers.
The lucrative sponsorships by Progressive and Bayer made this vile, dangerous speech against Republicans possible. This link contains their contact information.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Listen. This is part the bigger plan. It is all part of the bigger plan to dictate what happens in America. The people will be angry if they lose their voting rights. However, there is nothing that can be done about it since we are the ones in control.
Next comes the woman. We’re going to take your rights away just like we’re taking X, Y, and Z because there’ll be nothing you can do.
It seems that many of the people or countries in this country want to be controlled.
JOY BEHAR: To do — oh. It was my intention to tell it to be destroyed.
GOLDBERG : I’m not sure if they are aware that this will cause destruction. Because – Listen, when we talk about anti-Semitism, and we talk about Anne Frank and we can’t teach what happened to black people, and, you know, there’s all kinds of stuff that’s suddenly starting to disappear now. That isn’t — that is being sort of called – “Well, that’s just you whining. That’s just you saying this is happening to me.”
SUNNY HOOSTIN: This is coordinated.

GOLDBERG
BEHAR It’s like the autocrat running the country gets like 90% of the radio time. Other one receives 10 percent. These people are known for censoring journalists. This will also happen.
GOLDBERG: Yeah.
BEHAR: If the Republicans return to power, that will be what happens here. It’s obvious that these people are intractable at the moment. They are not able to be reasoned with. These people are shameless and will ruin us.
[CROSSTALK]
I sound like its hyperbole, but I’ve been around a long time, and I’ve seen what can happen.
HOSTIN: Well, I think, it’s true and it’s a cycle, and I’ve been reading a book about, sort of, history repeating itself, and they’re saying that —
BEHAR: Yes!
HOSTIN: — they’ve studied the cycles of history. The name is not in my head.
The Democrats do it again and again. Right? The problem is that they get to power and save the country. But then, they start to lean towards the middle and put forward agendas that are not supposed to help those communities who put them in power but rather help the ones that did. And then, they lose their power.

GOLDBERG : It happens whenever these groups come together and start to agitate like beetles. They can be heard moving their legs. It’s happening. You can see it happening. Wait. It’s coming, y’all are imagining it!
HOSTIN – Because you vote does not count right now.
GOLDBERG: That’s it. You can go to any place you want.
[CROSSTALK]
BEHAR: You can’t vote if you don’t know how to. I’m sorry.
