Video of a Texas woman falling from a reportedly 50-foot-tall stripper pole went viral over the weekend.
Genea Sky, the gentleman’s club dancer seen in the video, suffered broken teeth and fractured her jaw in the incident, ABC affiliate KSAT reported.
Footage of Sky falling while pole dancing at XTC Cabaret Dallas has been viewed more than 7 million times since being uploaded to Twitter on Sunday.
A social media user who claimed to work at the club said the pole was 50 feet in the air.
Sky posted an emotional video to Instagram responding to concerns from her nearly 100,000 followers.
“I’m OK and I just wanted to let everybody know that I’m good,” she said.
Sky also revealed that she was having surgery on Monday.
“I have my life and even with my injury to my face it could have been a lot worse,” she said.
A GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising money to cover the “workplace-related” injuries Sky sustained in her fall has already exceeded its $20,000 goal.
“My friend Genea was in a horrible accident while she was working,” the campaign’s organizer said in the GoFundMe description.
