SICK: Joy Reid Says GOP Doesn’t Want Dems to Feel Safe Anywhere in US

During MSNBC’s ReidOut on Monday, host Joy Reid continued her rage-filled tirades against the Republican Party. Without presenting any evidence they accuse them of wanting Democrats to be unable to feel emotionally or physically safe in America. 

Reid lashed out at the GOP claiming “their anger has frankly corroded into something more like hate. To the point where they, even as a minority…are openly flaunting the idea that because they’re not happy in and don’t feel affirmed by a more socially liberal modern multi-cultural and yes more secular America that there should be no safe spaces.” 

She added that if the GOP “had anything to do with it, there would be no place in this country where any of us [Democrats]Should feel secure. That’s our punishment.”  

As if that wasn’t bad enough, she used strawman arguments to paint the GOP as dangerous and unhinged: 

To stop the influx of immigrants, create a barrier. They must be separated from their children. The domestic infant population is not growing because women are aborting their children. It’s enough to pass laws that force them to give birth. Rape, incest we don’t care. You’re gonna do it and anyone who helps you should fear getting sued. They’re teaching history that makes me mad. Ban the books, make teachers too afraid to teach what I don’t like. No one is going to tell me how I should act, so they make me wear a mask and get me vaccinated against COVID. It doesn’t matter if more people are killed. They are too many and they vote for socialist policies such as health care. You could have a couple of armed police officers following you to the car, or you being forced to stand in line without water. Then you will be questioned on your registration. They voted against Trump, so let’s go to the capitol and scare the cops. We’ll bring a noose.

Reid became more and more deranged throughout the segment, removing any doubt about whether Reid meant that Republicans wanted Democrats to feel physically unsafe. “Set aside ideological or emotional safety” Reid prefaced. “We’re not allowed to feel physically safe anywhere in America thanks to Republicans’ ironclad partnership with the blood-soaked NRA which long ago quit the gun safety business and has been working for decades to make sure that the most lethal arms get into as many alienated 18 and 19-year-old incel hands as possible.” 

She ended her delusional and vile rant by falsely claiming “in America, you are literally rolling the dice every time you leave your house or drop off your kids at school.”

JOY RID: It seems their anger has turned into more hateful. They are now a minority. Only about 30 percent of Americans are Republicans, are openly flaunting the idea that because they’re not happy in and don’t feel affirmed by a more socially liberal modern multi-cultural and yes more secular America that there should be no safe spaces. It would not be safe for anyone to feel secure in the country if they were involved. This is our punishment. A political party has been selling the fear of alienation and demographic panic. Look at how Republicans market their current political campaigns.

REID: And okay, set aside ideological or emotional safety we’re not allowed to feel physically safe anywhere in America thanks to Republicans’ ironclad partnership with the blood-soaked NRA which long ago quit the gun safety business and has been working for decades to make sure that the most lethal arms get into as many alienated 18 and 19-year-old incel hands as possible so that we can’t feel safe at Walmart, at the supermarket, at bible study or church service, at the salon, at the hospital, if God forbid some guy gets mad at his doctor for not giving him opioids, at a nightclub, at a concert, even at a funeral. You can also feel unsafe at school. No matter if you’re in school at ten or in the fourth grade, America is where you live. You are literally playing the lottery every single time you go to school.
