Scarborough Rushes to Feel Putin’s Pain, Paints Ukraine as… Hitler?

This Thursday Morning JoeJoe Scarborough tried energetically to channel the fears of Vladimir Putin while he gathered his troops at the Ukrainian border.

Argumenting that Russia needs secure borders is a good idea.Scarborough stated that Ukraine was “like a knife that cuts right into the heart” of Russia.

It is not possible to find a lower number Six timesScarborough mentioned the 27,000,000 Russians killed in World War II. Scarborough even linked their emotions to the Holocaust. They are defined as losing 27 millions people It was just like the six million Jews who were killed during World War II. If it doesn’t, then we can’t help but wonder. you lose 27 million people Your thinking will be shaped and you’ll never see the same thing again.”

Reality topsy-turvy: Joe essentially painted Ukraine as an aggressor to Russia.

Was ist das? Scarborough forgot to mention that Russia was displaced 27 million times by Hitler’s invasion! The Soviet Union was formed by the US, and the other west-oriented countries. AlliesIt is important to help it LossHitler, stop the killing.

Scarborough, however, seemed to put the US in the exact same danger category towards Russia as Nazi Germany. Absurd!

MSNBC is regular and Washington PostDavid Ignatius, columnist, tried to soften Scarborough’s stance. He stated that it was helpful to “understand how our enemy views the world” and suggested that each country “deserves secure borders”.

Katty Kay is to be credited for pointing out that nobody is trying to threaten Russia’s borders. That Putin could be appeased now would encourage him to pursue his territorial ambitions in the future.

Scarborough said, “Scarborough’s conclusion.” we have to figure out how to help Putin “get out of the corner.” Scarborough claimed that he wasn’t suggesting concessions, but it sure sounds like it. Scarborough suggested we also consider what the US might feel if Russia signed an agreement of mutual security with Mexico.

Is it possible to guess who sent these strange thoughts into Scarborough? It’s obvious that Scarborough sound a lot like Tucker Carlson on Fox News. He said nearly the same thing about explaining Putin’s mentality. exchanging China for RussiaIn terms of Mexico being a threat

Joy Reid was very enthusiastic about Tucker’s story on her blog. Ayman Mohyeldin suggested that Tucker had been Russian-trained.  MSNBC openly mocked Tucker as a “useful idiot” on Twitter through Peter Strzok:

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough’s Putin sympathizing was sponsored in part by Subway, Liberty Mutual, Kraft, maker of Velveeta, AT&T, and Sleep Number.

JOE SCARBOROUGH : David. I’d like to ask you a very unpopular questionWith an extremely unpopular —

DAVID IGNATIUS: Uh-oh.

SCARBOROUGH, It’s not that there aren’t many questions Americans don’t want to ask. Here’s A nation that has lost 27 millions peopleDuring World War II. 27 million people Invasion caused the death of many soldiers in World War II.

Their empire fell in 1991. Now, people talk about NATO expansion into Ukraine. A region most Russians believe to be part of the Soviet Union. You also Ukraine looks like a knife, cutting right into Russia’s heart.

When we lecture Israel, I think of when people want Nobel Peace Prizes and want Israel to do things that would hurt their security. What if that were possible?

It would be great if people gathered along either the Mexican or Canadian borders. It’s so This is the question I believe Putin and other Russians asked. Is it possible for Russia to sign a security alliance? What number of days would you expect us to put up with this? . . . All we have to do is think like them and see their perspective.

IGNATIUS. We have to see the world through the eyes of our enemies. Secure borders are something every country must have.

SCARBOROUGH: Right.

IGNATIUS: This is just…

KATTY KAY Russia’s borders are secure Russia is not under attack by anybody.

IGNATIUS: Russia has never been invaded by anyone.

KAY: Russia is grabbing Georgia from Ukraine and Crimea. Russia’s borders have never been attacked by anybody. Ukraine is an independent country for over 30 years with nearly two generations of self-governing citizens. This is how Russia feels. But in a way, if we put ourselves too much into the mindset of Putin, and thinking, well, that’s how Russia is feeling, This may encourage Russia to make concessions over the crisis.

SCARBOROUGH : Katty, it’s not that they have invaded anyone over the past two generations. What is the point? They are defined as losing 27 millions people In World War II, six million Jews died in the same conflict. If it doesn’t, then we can’t help but wonder. you lose 27 million people Your thinking will be shaped and you’ll never see the same thing again.

This isn’t to suggest we make any concessions to Russia. Let’s help Russia get out of this corner if you want to avoid a European War. We need to ask ourselves: What are they thinking? How can we help them get out of this corner?
