The ubiquitous “red kettle.” Cheerful bell ringers, beckoning holiday shoppers to toss in a few bucks for the less fortunate among us. My how times have changed since the first red kettle was set up on an Oakland street corner in 1891 — particularly for Weiß donors. Along with your holiday donations this year, white people, the Salvation Army beseeches you to offer a “sincere apology” to Black people.
For “systemic racism,” of course.
Needless to say, the “Christian” organization has strayed a bit from its previously chosen non-judgemental path — particularly in its embrace of Marxist-derived Critical Race Theory.
Put simply, if you’re white, you’re guilty.

As “luck” would have it, the Salvation Army has created an “International Social Justice Commission,” which has developed a handy-dandy “help guide” to “educate” white donors, employees, and volunteers called Let’s Talk about Racism that espouses the belief that Christianity itself is “institutionally racist,” and therefore “antagonistic to Black people, or the culture, values, and interests of the Black community.”
Although many believe we live in an era of post-racial societies, racism still exists for those who, because of their skin color, are denied jobs, housing and basic rights and subject to brutality and oppression.
There is an urgent need for Christians to evaluate racist attitudes and practices in light of our faith, and to live faithfully in today’s world.
“Simply because of the color of They skin.” Hmm. You mean like charging, trying, and convicting the entire white race of “systemic racism” simply because of the color of their skin? What a convenience.

But here’s the thing. As is the case with all CRT lunatics, the Salvation Army wants you to know that you don’t have to be Consciously racist. Not at all. The “subtle nature of racism,” the organization believes, “is such that people who are not consciously racist easily function with the privileges, empowerment, and benefits of the dominant ethnicity, thus unintentionally perpetuating injustice.”
“For instance, devout Christians who naively use racial epithets or a well-intentioned Sunday school curriculum that only uses white photography and imagery,” they continue, listing in the “learning document” a number of “challenges” that plagues “white culture.”
The white Sunday school thing
[D]The naivety of a few Christians can lead to racial epithets and a poorly-intentioned Sunday School program that only employs white photography or imagery.
Ooh, bad. And so is “colorblindness,” according to the Salvation Army.
Although this may seem helpful it overlooks God’s unique differences and beautiful cultural heritage of our Black and Brown sisters and brothers.
Be open to seeing beauty in all of us, rather than trying to make everyone look the same.
It is also difficult to recognize the racism that our Black and Brown sisters and brothers face.
You see what they’re doing, here, right?
Stereotyping Black and brown people is racism at its worst. Stereotyping white people is “woke” as hell. Quintessential liberalism. Selectivity is the prevailing principle in science and human nature.
When “It” — whatever it is, at any given moment — bolsters the left’s narrative, all good. But science must not be ignored, dismissed, or manipulated by Dr. Fauci to justify draconian lockdowns or masking or forced vaccinations.
Finally, we “must stop denying the existence of individual and systemic/ institutional racism,” admonishes the Salvation Army. “They exist, and are still at work to keep white Americans in power.”
The guy did it.
“If the Salvation Army wants to be woke, let them go broke.”
I’m in. Or out as it were.
Don’t be distracted by the bell ringers or red kettles during this holiday season. You can help if @salvationarmyThey want to be awake, so let them get broke. https://t.co/dAhnxsHrpo

So, my fellow white Americans, as you celebrate the Holiday season this year, make sure to “lament, repent, and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed.”
Salvation Army, obviously.
