Perpetually angry CNN host Don Lemon, along with other blowhards at the network like their resident tough guy Chris Cuomo, has made it his life’s mission to dunk on the state of Florida every chance he gets.
Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has been on the radars of CNN’s dunce-tastic duo ever since the pandemic started, with Cuomo repeatedly bringing on discredited (and fired) former Florida Dept. of Health IT staffer Rebekah Jones and other supposed “experts” to attempt to discredit DeSantis on his handling of the outbreak, while Lemon periodically launches into self-righteous diatribes about how DeSantis is willingly “killing” people (including children, Lemon always emphasizes) by opposing coronavirus vaccine mandates and mask mandates in the workplace and in schools.
Because, you see, in CNN’s world, it’s better to rather self-servingly prop up failed “leaders” like disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democratic senator, was unable to manage the pandemic well in New York and instead gave credit to those who used different approaches, like DeSantis.
But apparently Don Lemon doesn’t hate Florida It’s too bad!He was spotted relaxing at Palm Beach Island and looking maskless beside his girlfriend. As they stand up to leave the pool area, a maskless Lemon then proceeds to walk by other hotel guests in close proximity which – if we’re to listen to him – is a deliberate attempt to kill people. The DC Examiner obtained this statement from CNN regarding Lemon’s visit:
“Don was in Florida for less than 24 hours (does not equate to a vacation),” a CNN spokesperson said in a statement sent to the Washington Examiner. “He is fully vaccinated and has received his booster shot. Don’s activities were outside and were not in violation of CDC mask requirements.”
In response to the reports of Lemon visiting the state he so clearly hates and partaking in the enjoyment and luxuries of what some of the state’s more lavish tourist destinations had to offer, DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw welcomed him to Florida – complete with a subtle dig:

Lemon, who a year ago proudly boasted on live TV about cutting his alleged Trump-supporting friends out of his life “because sometimes you’ve just got to let them go. I think they have to hit rock bottom like an addict, right?,” has not yet responded directly to the story of him traveling to the dangerous state of Florida apparently for a quick break from the action at Zuckerville HQ.
But it doesn’t really matter because the video speaks for itself.
What is the most controversial thing he did? Outside of not wearing a mask as he walked closely by other guests – because, again, to the Don Lemons of the world if you are within six ft of someone indoors or outdoors and you are not wearing a mask you are the equivalent of an attempted murderer – no. He was still smiling. WasFlorida is an evil state, and DeSantis was given a great laugh by CNN Lemon and Cuomo, who have blasted the state and him for the last 18-months.
Even the haters can’t resist Florida with its warmer climate, its delectable orange groves, and its miles of beautiful beaches – especially at this time of year.
However, I had a good time chuckling at the conversation between the woman and Tucker Carlson. She used Tucker Carlson’s pronunciation of the name “Lemon” (Leh-MAHN, as Carlson has said it) which let me know she was filming that video for a reason, and not because she was a big fan of CNN’s. Well done, ma’am. Well done.
