Rogan Blasts ‘Woke’ Big Tech CEOs

Joe Rogan blasted “woke” Big Tech CEOs in a recent podcast.

Rogan host Daryl Davis. He is a black singer and author, who has been friends with members the Ku Klux Klan as well as neo Nazis to help them turn their backs on racism. Bill Ottman was also a free speech advocate and internet entrepreneur.

Based on The Blaze, both men are involved in the “Change Minds Initiative.” This initiative argued that de-platforming individuals on social media lead to radicalism.

“The research found significant evidence that censorship and de-platforming can promote and amplify, rather than suppress, cognitive radicalization and even violent extremism,” their paper on censorship reads. The shutting down of accounts for violating hate-speech and misinformation policies often moves those individuals banned to new platforms that further refine their victimhood narrative.

Ottman claimed that even leftists admit that deplatforming can lead to extremism.

His statement was, “It is almost impossible to imagine that these big tech apps don’t look at the data and apply it to their policy. It makes it seem like they have deliberately caused it.” They are smart and experienced people who work in big tech companies. They are experts in data science and the dissemination of information.

Rogan was not in agreement and offered his thoughts about censorship.

He stated, “I don’t believe that they are intentionally causing it.”

“First, the ideology attached to all of the major tech companies is that you must be what they believe is ‘woke.’ He asked.

You must subscribe to one line of thought, and anyone who deviates should be silenced, reduced or even banned.

Rogan claimed that Big Tech CEOs need to demonstrate virtue to succeed.

Rogan stated, “The CEOs need to virtue signal.” All executives need to be virtuous signaling, which means they must say that we are trying our hardest to end harmful talk.

“But what they call ‘harmful’ like a lot of it is like disagreeing with pharmaceutical companies, which is just f***ing crazy” he proclaimed.

Rogan stated that it is important to have a dialogue with those you don’t agree with in order for society to be free.

He noted that he has people who listen to the podcast and don’t like them at all, or they disagree with me very little.

“And the idea that you the f***ing tech dorks are going to step in and say, ‘No, this is dangerous thinking.'”
