Rittenhouse: CNN Calls Judge ‘Bonkers,’ But Expert Not Buying It

In the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, it’s the second tough morning in a row for the liberal media, and good news for the defense.

Yesterday, we noted how Morning JoeWe had to accept that Rittenhouse’s prosecution was in “falling apart”. A prosecution witness confessed that the defendant didn’t fire until the witness pointed the gun at him.

It was CNN’s turn today to go in the barrel. Day of the New co-host John Berman tried to shift focus to what he described as the “bonkers” behavior of the trial judge, Bruce Schroeder. And it was repeatedly mentioned that “criticism” had been received by the judge. Some of the criticism originated from Morning JoeJoe Scarborough called Judge Schroeder an “absolute joke” in this video.

But even CNN’s own legal expert that Day of the NewIt was not buying the product when it was brought in. Attorney for defense Joey Jackson, a CNN legal analyst, stated that it was common for judges to harshly reprimand trial lawyers when they disobey instructions. He also stated that the prosecution was guilty of exactly that. Jackson ended by saying: “Regardless of any criticism, I am with this judge.” And both Jackson and law professor Alexis Hoag said they thought Rittenhouse had helped himself by testifying, with Jackson adding, “very much.”

So much for Schroeder being “bonkers!”

Please also take noteBerman observed that Rittenhouse was “extremely well-prepared” for the task. The impression was that he’d gone over every detail of this case numerous times before noticing anything. Berman denied that he meant that “pejoratively,” although the implied meaning of Rittenhouse having been trained beyond the normal limits was clear.

In fact, Rittenhouse may have been well prepared, but that is just a matter his lawyers performing their professional duties. Compare and contrast with the prosecution, which, incredibly, seemed unprepared for the fact that its own witness, one of the people shot by Rittenhouse, would admit on the stand that it was only after he drew his gun that Rittenhouse fired at him.

CNN attempted to depict Rittenhouse trial judge Bruce Schroeder (against all odds) as “bonkers”. This was partly sponsored by Marcum, Google and Volvo.

JOHNBERMAN: Today, there were many riveting moments and questions raised about Kyle Rittenhouse’s dramatic testimony in his murder trial. Rittenhouse testified in his defense and the jury witnessed the following. Sobbing. While he was looking on, his mother appeared to also be sobbing.

. .

BRIANNA KEILARThis case’s judge was the other highlight. He unleashed his fury on the prosecution throughout the dayThey accused them of grave constitutional violations as they interrogated the teenager. The judge’s phone was ringing loudly, and the patriotic song, God Bless America, played at one point. Now, the judge’s conduct during trial is being scrutinized and raised questions. His Behaviour and demeanor

. .

SHIMON PROKUPECZ : The other thing that I believe we should be looking for is It is uncertain whether the judge will be present to speak with the prosecutor about the statements he made.As he has watched this judge in court, he is very aware about how media have been covering the trial. It’s clear that he has made comments about it. Also, I am going to be Curious to hear how he handles some of the critics that he has been receiving.

JUDGE BRUCE SCHROEDER – It is a serious constitutional violation to discuss the silence of the defendant. The problem is that you have reached the limit. However, it’s better to stop.

PROKUPECZ. Lashing out at Rittenhouse because he tried to ask him questions about evidence which he has already exonerated from the trial.

SCHROEDER As you all know, an attorney cannot go in to these kinds of areas after a judge has ruled. Don’t tell me.

. .

BERMAN, Counselor. Let me begin with you. What is your assessment of Kyle Rittenhouse’s decision to stand? And what are the outcomes?
. .

JOEY JACKSON : It was extremely effective. It was very effective from a defense standpoint.

. .

BERMAN It was almost as though he’d gone through the entire case numerous times before he became surprised.

. .

Let’s get to the judge. Let’s get real, we can play this because This is the first time I have ever seen a judge shout like that. We don’t have it. You saw the judge go crazy.

What was that third rail for the prosecution?

JACKSON: Extremely. They went beyond that, I believe. . . Und ich denke, No matter what the critics may say, I stand with him.My body has been torn apart. Before me, I have seen lawyers being torn apart. This is something that I am not immune from. Lawyers don’t have immunity to this. You behave appropriately when you are in court. The rules are followed. If you do not, be prepared for the judge to make you undress.

BERMAN: It’s a simple question that we have time to answer. Do you think Kyle Rittenhouse helped or hurt yourself yesterday?

PROFESSOR ALEXIS HOAG – He was able to help himself.

JACKSON. Thank you so much.
