Aren’t you excited? It’s exciting to see the far-left working tirelessly to devise a new method to attack conservatives, and any other person who doesn’t share their political views. Perhaps terms like “racist,” “homophobic,” and “sexist” have become too hackneyed even for progressives. Now, they just might be ready to introduce a new favorite smear, the way Steve Jobs used to present Apple’s latest iPhone.
So what’s the new word, you ask?
Here’s your answer: Christofascist.
That’s right, folks. If you’re reading this, you’re likely a conservative/libertarian type, so this article is to let you know that to progressives, you are a Christofascist seeking to assert your religious morals on the rest of the nation — whether they like it or not.
This word is being used more frequently by Leftists in recent years. This trend began in May. Social media is flooded with progressives who use the term like candy pouring out of a broken pinata. These are only a few:

Nothing is JUDEO regarding guns. This is just another Christianofascist out to save his or her own inhumanity and greed.

You know what’s even more interesting? Google searches for “Christofascism” jumped at the beginning of May. Here’s a chart from Google Trends showing that searches for the word surged between May 1 and 7.
Which event was it that shattered the world between those dates?
That’s right. Politico’s story on the Supreme Court draft opinion leaked to the media indicated it would probably repeal Roe v. Wade if the justices make their decision before June ends.
This revelation sent the pro-abortion movement into a frenzy at the thought of less dead babies. Far-left often labels pro-lifers theocrats trying to create a Christian fascist government in order to make everyone follow Christian tenets. It is why female pro-abortion activists dress up as characters from “The Handmaid’s Tale.” They are literally trying to convince the rest of the country that these wicked Christofascists are trying to gain enough power to oppress them.
Look at this: Salon’s Chris Hedges is a fearmonger regarding the impending rise of Christofascists. He wrote:
Donald Trump has been embraced by Christian fascists in a cultlike manner. These fascists are supported by capitalists who have the worst intentions. Capitalists are able to support the intellectualism of Christian fascists, as well as their destructive social and cultural wars.
But that’s not all. Hedges warns that religious zealots may be intent on starting holy wars.
Christian fascists are a favorite of the war industry, who make every conflict in the world from Iraq to Ukraine a holy crusade against the latest version of Satan. The Christian fascists believe military power, and the “manly” virtues that come with it, are blessed by God, Jesus and the Virgin Mary. There is no limit to the size of the military budget. America will not wage war on anyone.
But it gets even worse, dear reader. These purveyors are apparently the United States Supreme Court. Hedges says:
The Christian fascists represent 30% to 40% of the electorate. That’s roughly equal to Americans who believe that abortion is murder. These people are well-organized, have a clear vision and are awash with money. John Roberts (Samuel Alito), Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch, along with Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas are mediocre jurists. They also represent the Federalist Society ideologyologues Christian Fascism.
Oh!
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this is nothing more than mindless alarmism intended to manipulate people into believing those who disagree with progressive politics is equivalent to a Christian version of the Taliban. This isn’t the first time leftists have used this particular trope. The term “Christofascist” has been in existence since 1970. They now seem to be determined to make this happen as best they can.
This is why you should expect this epithet to be used whenever you support pro-life views or oppose them. Indeed, I expect it to become a regular part of the progressives’ rotation when it comes to labels for their political opposition once the Supreme Court hands down its decision about Roe.
But, as I always say, we must remember the people making these accusations don’t actually believe them for the most part. They realize that the Christian fascist movement is not attempting to overthrow women. They are a bread-and-butter type, isn’t it? We can only imagine what else we could expect of these people.
